We did visit several ship museum but Polly Woodside is unlike others. Our children, 6-7 years old, learned a lot from the visit. They did experience being ship boys, learn how lives on board the ship would be. The trick on making kids counting rats on the ship was simple but very useful. Rocking the ship taught them how the weight effecting the ship. The tour guides were very informative and great fun. Highly recommended to everyone."Trip Advisor
The day was hot and we were on the way to an event at the MCEC. Our three grandsons were put to work washing the deck, and were rewarded with a (?) gold coin. The tour was engaging, and if it can keep young boys engaged, it must be great. Steeped in history, with great stories told by the 'captain", my three were wide-eyed!"Trip Advisor
