I have stayed at this hotel multiple times during business trips to Prague and have always been very satisfied. This time, I wanted to share the same positive experience with my wife and daughter. I booked a Junior Suite via Booking.com, assuming that for €640 per night—compared to €520 for two double rooms—it would comfortably accommodate all three of us. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I acknowledge that it was my mistake not to read all the booking conditions carefully. However, I expected a Junior Suite to have enough space and a prepared extra bed for my daughter. Neither was true. When I asked the front desk for assistance, the manager was not friendly and instead lectured me about booking directly next time. I tried to explain that two rooms were cheaper than the suite, but he simply said he wasn’t responsible for pricing. His attitude was unprofessional and unhelpful. He offered to remove the sofa from the room, which made no sense, and the conversation became increasingly unpleasant. My main concern was value for money—either to switch to two rooms or adjust the price—but neither option was considered. Later that evening, we found a letter in the room apologizing for the misunderstanding (again, I accept my part in it), along with some sweets and two bottles of wine. They also offered to waive the garage fee. However, by that point, the experience had already been soured. I left the wine and paid for the garage, as I do not support rude service. Sadly, I no longer plan to return to this hotel.
