Update 1 May 2025 11.45AM AEST: Starting 1 May 2025, all non-Thai nationals entering Thailand must complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online within three days of their arrival. This new requirement aims to streamline the immigration process and replace the traditional paper-based form, offering greater convenience and efficiency for travellers.
- Mandatory TDAC: All non-Thai travellers must complete the TDAC online.
- Deadline: The TDAC must be submitted within three days prior to arrival.
- Submission: The TDAC can be submitted on the official website: https://tdac.immigration.go.th/arrival-card/#/home.
- Exemption: Travellers holding non-Thai passports who are transiting through Thailand without passing through immigration are exempt from this requirement.
- Support at the airport: Assistance will be available at the airport for those who cannot complete the TDAC online before arrival, but this is intended for exceptional cases only.
- Travel Insurance: It is recommended to purchase Thailand travel insurance, especially for those with pre-existing medical conditions.
