Update 11 November 2024, 2.30PM AEDT: Starting 1 January 2025, Avani Chaweng Samui Hotel & Beach Club will introduce an adults-only policy. Guests under 18 will not be permitted at the hotel or SEEN Beach Club. However, on Sundays, SEEN Beach Club will be open to guests under 18 from 11am to 7pm.

Update 23 September 2024, 10.30 AM AEST: Fine print updated to note SEEN Beach Club is an adults-only venue and its closure period for maintenance; hotel will remain open for that period. Fine Print updated to add further information regarding mandatory Gala Dinner fee.

Starting 1 May 2025, all non-Thai nationals entering Thailand must complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online within three days of their arrival. This new requirement aims to streamline the immigration process and replace the traditional paper-based form, offering greater convenience and efficiency for travellers.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Koh Samui. The location is perfect, close to everything yet still peaceful and relaxing. The rooms are clean, spacious, and very comfortable. What truly made the difference was the service — the staff were exceptionally kind, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. A special mention to Guide, who went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. Highly recommended!

I had an amazing stay at Avani Hotel! The services were excellent, and the customer service team truly went above and beyond to make everything easy and comfortable for me. Everyone at the reception and customer service was professional, friendly, and always smiling. I would especially like to thank Guide, Tong, Tiger, and May for their incredible kindness and outstanding service. They were so helpful and made my stay even more special. Thank you to the entire team at Avani Hotel for such a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for excellent hospitality!

We stayed at Avani Chaweng Samui Hotel & Beach Club and had a lovely time overall. The hotel is beautifully maintained, with a stylish retro feel and a fun, vibrant atmosphere. The staff were kind, professional, and very helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was very good, with plenty of tasty and fresh options. One of the biggest highlights is the location – right across from Chabad House, and within walking distance of all the best spots in Chaweng: restaurants, bars, shops, and the beach are just minutes away. One downside we encountered was regarding the sunbeds at SEEN Beach Club, which are located within the hotel’s grounds. We were only informed at check-in that there’s an additional charge to use them, which caught us by surprise. It would’ve been much better to know that in advance. Despite that, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel for its style, service, and perfect location.

We stayed at Avani Chaweng and overall had a good experience. The hotel has a stylish retro vibe and is located right in the heart of Chaweng – perfect for those who want to be close to the beach and nightlife. The room was comfortable and well-decorated, but there were two issues: First, the cleanliness of the restroom wasn’t quite up to standard. It wasn’t a major problem, but a bit more attention to detail would have made a difference. Second, and more importantly, loud disco music from the beach club starts around midday and continues until 10:30 PM every day. It’s clearly part of the hotel’s party-oriented concept – but if you’re looking to relax or sleep early, or just enjoy quiet time in your room, this is probably not the right place for you. The staff was friendly and check-in was smooth.
