Enjoy the benefits of this accommodation and transfers in the morning to Darwin International Airport (DRW) or Broome International Airport (BME). Your package includes convenient roundtrip air transfers from these airports via East Kimberley Regional Airport (KNX) to and from the lodge. Sit back and relax as you fly over some of the most breathtaking landscapes in Australia.
On arrival at Berkeley River Lodge, enjoy a branded welcome gift pack per person with a waterproof dry bag, a water bottle, cooling travel fan and a quick dry towel. Kickstart each morning with a continental breakfast spread, featuring fresh seasonal fruits, fluffy muffins, house-made bircher muesli, a variety of cereals and more – all complemented by a selection of cooked breakfast classics and the chef’s daily special. Each day brings a delicious lunch – whether a freshly prepared, packed lunch to bring on your adventures or a chef-selected a la carte meal served at the lodge for those on site. Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date. - Two spa treatments per person is a choice of a massage, facial and body treatment and must be booked upon check-in. Guests can choose between two 60-minute spa treatments or one luxurious two-hour spa treatment.
- Complimentary daily activities include a Berkeley River cruise, four-wheel drive beach and bush tour, Sunset Beach drive with canapés and a fishing adventure. All activities are optional. Resort staff will endeavour to coordinate activities and excursions based on guests’ preferences and fitness levels, where possible.
- Helicopter tours are not included in the daily activities and are available at an additional cost.
- There is no minibar available in the villas. Drinks can be ordered via room service.
- Mobile phone reception is limited or unavailable at Berkeley River Lodge. Satellite telephone calls can be arranged through reception (surcharges apply).
- No refunds can be given in the event of non-arrival or unused nights due to flight/weather disruptions.
Flights and transfers:
- Your package includes return flights from Darwin International Airport (DRW) or Broome International Airport (BME) via East Kimberley Regional Airport (KNX). Please select packages carefully.
- Transfers to either Darwin International Airport (DRW) or Broome International Airport (BME) in the morning are from your pre-accommodation stay. Then, you will take a flight to East Kimberley Regional Airport (KNX), with a layover with time to explore Kunanurra and relax. After that, enjoy a scenic flight to Berkeley River Lodge.
- Return flights are from Berkeley River Lodge to East Kimberley Regional Airport (KNX), then a connecting flight back to Darwin International Airport (DRW) or Broome International Airport (BME).
- The flight from East Kimberley Regional Airport (KNX) departs 3pm and arrives at Berkeley River Lodge at 4.15pm, approximately.
Dining Inclusions:
- Daily breakfast is a buffet spread at Dune’s Restaurant, featuring a selection of hot and cold items, including seasonal fruits, muffins, house-made bircher muesli, cereals and more.
- Daily chef-selected a la carte lunch is served at the Main Lodge or a packed lunch to enjoy on your daily adventure.
- Nightly degustation-style dinner is served at Dunes Restaurant.
- The drinks package includes premium wines, beer, spirits, cocktails, mocktails, soft drinks, tea, coffee and juices.
- Please advise special dietary requirements at least seven days prior to arrival.
Darwin pre-stay accommodation package:
- One night stay at Darwin Waterfront Short Stay Apartments in a One-Bedroom Self-Contained Apartment. Meals are not included, but guests have access to Darwin Waterfront precinct and amenities.
- Airport transfers to Darwin International Airport (DRW) will be from your Darwin pre-stay accommodation.
Broome pre-stay accommodation package:
- One night stay at The Pearle of Cable Beach in a Guest Room with a continental breakfast included. Breakfast is served at The Pearle Breakfast Cafe between 7.30am to 10.30am, or delivered to your room the night before if you have an early flight.
- Airport transfers to Broome International Airport (BME) will be from your Broome pre-stay accommodation.
Post-booking process:
- Shortly after booking: The Berkeley River Lodge team will contact guests to collect personal flight details and share a comprehensive itinerary outlining their upcoming trip.
- Before departure: Guests will receive a form to provide further information, including dietary requirements, medical conditions, and any other relevant details.
- 14 days before departure: A final confirmation email will be sent, including all key information for the trip.
