Crimson Resort and Spa Mactan

We chose this hotel to rest in holidays.. and we couldn’t had a better choice!! I could talk about the many things: excellent facilities, fantastic pool close to the beach.. super varied breakfast, large and clean rooms... incredible bed... but I think the best thing about the hotel is the staff. Such wonderful people! always with a smile on their face, and always helping you with incredible respect. We had a memorable stay, I would definitely choose this hotel again. Thank you!

A fantastic place for families - the staff are the most welcoming, helpful and friendly you will meet anywhere in the Philippines. The service was absolutely impeccable, the rooms were very clean, comfortable and spacious, the facilities and activities were just perfect for our family of 4 (2 young children). They especially enjoyed the pool foam parties and arts and crafts. The beach is small and man made but the water was clear and beautiful. The beach bar was the perfect hangout with a great view. The pools were our highlight - we loved them all! My girls also loved the play area with their own snack bar next door for ice cream and child friendly foods. The breakfast buffet was delicious (the one little complaint I have is that they leave fruit and butter out and don’t renew so they get old quickly especially for us late breakfast eaters). I only give the location 4/5 because it is quite far from the rest of Cebu if you want to explore and a little difficult to get taxis (you have to book in advance and there is an extra charge). We stayed for 5 nights which was great but after a while the food inside gets “samey” and you’re not allowed food delivery. If you want to travel to the main shopping malls it’s 45mins - 1hr away depending on traffic which can be really bad and even take longer. You can’t just leave easily to go to the nearby restaurants in Maribago or Mactan without booking taxis in advance. There is a free shuttle to the malls for those happy to travel only at certain times though and the view everywhere is great and it’s close enough to the airport. Definitely better for either only a few nights stay/a long weekend or if you have your own car if you’re brave enough to drive in Cebu (we would definitely come back and do this!) Overall had an incredibly stay and would highly recommend!

Traveling with my family of 4 along with my elderly father (that has both mental and mobility issues) this hotel has gone above and beyond to help us feel comfortable. We really appreciated first of all the complimentary airport transfer that was waiting for us right out side of baggage claim. Also loved their golf carts that were so readily available to take us anywhere around the resort. A staff member is always around and offering to help my dad with anything and everything. We all enjoyed the Spa where my dad got the very best manicure and pedicure and I really loved my massage and facial ! And of course I cannot rave enough about the Food !! The breakfast buffet is the best I’ve ever seen ! Dimsum, soup station, omelette station, coffee station; sushi, waffle/pancake station! The beach restaurant was really good as well …we loved their mango sticky rice ! Thank You to all the Crimson staff for our amazing stay! I could not hesitate to come back !

What impressed me the most from the moment I arrived at this resort was definitely the staff. There was a small issue with my room after check-in, but they handled it with such care and sincerity that it really left a lasting impression. Throughout my stay, every staff member I met was kind, warm, and genuinely attentive. Their sincerity made me feel relaxed and truly welcomed. The resort itself is beautiful too—its design blends traditional Cebuano style with nature in such a peaceful way. Snorkeling at the private beach was also a great experience. But in the end, what made me want to come back was the staff here.
