I stayed for one night for work purposes and had a great experience. The car park had plenty of spaces- ground level spaces were very handy. I received a warm welcome from Patrice at reception, who was friendly and efficient. Archie at the restaurant provided excellent service during dinner — he was attentive and went the extra mile to check with the chef whether the chicken was halal. The chef even came out personally to reassure me and showed me a photo of the chicken’s packaging, which I really appreciated. At breakfast, Harvey was friendly and quick to clear tables and keep the area spotless. Overall, a great hotel with modern decor, good vibes, and outstanding service. Would highly recommend.

We had a really enjoyable stay here. Very warm welcome at check-in from Patrice at the front desk. The room was spacious, clean and modern with excellent shower. Received 25% off in restaurant for showing our Leeds United match tickets. I've seen slightly bigger breakfast buffet spreads, but not many higher quality ones. Very much recommended.

The hotel was very nice, with beautiful decor and an amazing scent as you entered the lobby! The rooms were very good—we stayed in a Standard Queen Room on the 4th floor. Comfortable room with a view of Wellington Road. The water pressure in the shower was a bit low, but manageable. The jacuzzi was great, but I found the pool to be small. Sauna and steam room were also available. The food at the restaurant was tasty, but the service at both the bar and restaurant wasn’t the best. We asked for food to take to our room, and it arrived uncovered, with just one napkin for two people, and no salt or pepper. When we ordered room service another time, the waiter was very polite, and the food came with covers to keep it warm, but there was only a knife and fork, and no spoon for the dessert, which included ice cream. So the ice cream melted, and we couldn’t eat it properly, since a fork isn’t ideal for that. Again, no salt or pepper on the tray. The only negatives I found were with the service. The reception staff were very helpful and polite, unlike the restaurant team. The hotel is centrally located, with easy access to the city centre and just a 10-minute walk from the train station.

My boyfriend and I spent a couple of nights here in a junior suite with lounge access. The hotel and room were lovely - very clean with good facilities. The food & drinks in the hotel restaurant were really nice but a little overpriced. We were, unfortunately disappointed by the lounge as this was only open for a few hours a day. I frequently stay at other Crowne Plaza hotels and their lounges are open 24/7. I've had to deduct a couple of stars from my overall review because of an incident on our last night - the bar staff repeatedly phoned our room after midnight and then turned-up at our door with a card machine demanding that we settle our bar bill, which should have been charged to the room. This was really unacceptable and for this reason, we would not return. Addendum 14/10/25: Dear Katie, thank you for taking the time to reply to my review. I really appreciate you addressing my issues. Just to clarify, we were aware that alcohol and canapes were only available during designated hours. My complaint is that we were unable to access any soft drinks outside of these hours because the fridges were locked. Usually when I visit a Crowne Plaza, these are available 24/7 and I was expecting the same from Leeds. This was really disappointing for us. If we had known beforehand, we would not have upgraded to lounge access.
