One of the absolute highlights of our trip was John. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, he was there - always with a smile and ready to help with anything we needed The hotel itself was fantastic - spotless rooms, friendly and attentive staff, excellent room service, and great facilities. We honestly couldn’t fault anything about the place or its team You can tell he genuinely cares about the guests and takes pride in what he does. He’s the kind of person who makes a place memorable. A true asset to the hotel and honestly to hospitality as a whole. Can't thank him enough :)

what a delight! completely blown away by how attentive staff were . we had a club room with balcony and it was huge comfy and the river view was fantastic. we loved watching the busy river in a morning on the balcony car park is questionable but everything else was great. Huge selection at breakfast and the place was spotless. highly recommend, location is fantastic too

Very nice rooms, clean and well furnished. Small point but annoying for me is the casting option on the large TV doesn't work. I only found out after repeated tries then calling the front desk. A selection of teas and coffee, comfortable fluffy towels large bed with deep mattress. The rooms have air-con and bizarrely for such a hot time they had winter duvets on.

Worst hotel ever. Makes Fawlty Towers look 5*. Inept, slow staff. Slow food service. Rooms not turned down. Supplies and towels not replaced when they do. And do not consider using the day service for laundry. They add on charges, then don't actually do the laundry. Stay somewhere else as the location does not make up for the terrible service.
