From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views and the warm welcome we received. The hotel staff greeted us with genuine smiles and refreshing welcome drinks, making us feel right at home instantly. The facilities are top-notch — from the beautifully maintained pools to the state-of-the-art gym and relaxing spa, everything is designed for maximum comfort and enjoyment. The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and elegantly decorated, with stunning views that made waking up each morning a true pleasure. The restaurants exceeded all our expectations. Each meal was a culinary delight, offering a wide variety of options with impeccable presentation and flavor. The breakfast buffet was particularly impressive, with fresh, high-quality ingredients and excellent service. What truly sets this hotel apart is its staff. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and professional. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed at all times. The attention to detail, the luxurious amenities, and the overall atmosphere of tranquility and care made this one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. We will definitely be returning — highly recommended!

We stayed here for 5 nights and were wowed by pretty much everything. After the initial disappointment of the indoor pool not working and being advised of the strict no-kids policy for the indoor pool and Spa area, the hotel did everything to make it a most memorable stay. A very special thanks to the manager Pablo who really did help us and ensured every part of our holiday was special - a real credit to have as a team leader, and overall amazing guy. Rebecca at reception and Issy & Amalia at concierge were also fantastic in helping us with all our requests. The golf courses were pristine, the Links being the more picturesque. The Heaths is a more pure golfing experience, and I personally enjoyed it more. The food was lovely, and Dalmar is definitely worth a visit! Thank you all, we hope to see you again very soon!

We visited in April 2025 a few weeks after the property opened, hence not all services were available and there was still construction on site. For example, the pool restaurant was closed. The setting is absolutely breathtaking, with an unforgettable view of the Mediterranean and Gibraltar. Our rooms were obviously brand new and well appointed. We spent a lot of time on our balconies. Unfortunately one of the bathrooms had flooding issues for which they promptly moved us. We enjoyed the more casual on-site restaurant and appreciated that it was opened late, as we checked in past 9pm. The breakfast buffet was also good. One of the downsides of this hotel is really the lack of training for the staff. Hopefully this resolves over time but we felt that several of the people we interacted with were confused or unsure of how to handle our requests. There also seemed to be a language barrier, not all customer facing staff is necessarily fluent, which made communications a little cumbersome. For example, no explanation of the guest services and activities, property layout or beach access was provided at check in. The restaurant was freezing late at night and there was staff reluctance to shut the dining room’s large windows, even after repeated requests and us having to wear our puffer jackets during dinner. The hotel signage was confusing or limited, and we frequently lost our way around the resort. We never got our Accord Loyalty points (for 12 nights) after repeatedly asking for our Loyalty number to be added to the reservation. Note that this is in a secluded area so you will definitely need a car. I wouldn’t recommend spending your entire time at the resort given the wonderful sights and towns in the area. We also felt that the hotel could be a bit livelier at night. Even though there are spacious seating areas across the property, there wasn’t a clearly defined bar area where patrons could gather for a nightcap. The hotel lacked a bit of that social atmosphere in the evening. Overall I would return as the settings are absolutely breathtaking, but settle your expectations regarding service.

This is a brand-new luxury spot in a tranquil and truly stunning location. We absolutely loved the mix of contemporary styling with Mediterranean touches — the design has clearly been thoughtfully executed. Our suite was beautiful, and the beds wonderfully comfortable. That said, the hotel still feels very much in its infancy. When we visited in early July, it was only at around 40% occupancy, yet there were already noticeable logistical struggles. It took nearly two hours for our luggage to arrive after check-in, and room service was a letdown from the start. Our first meal arrived in parts — one half after over an hour, the other more than two hours later. Worse still, the vegetarian burger — described as a house-made mix of brown rice, quinoa, and aubergine — turned out to be a basic supermarket meat-free patty with a sad sliver of limp lettuce on top. Overall, the food quality was uninspiring and the menu rather limited for a hotel of this calibre. Checkout was also chaotic, with a one-hour wait for the shuttle to the airport — particularly frustrating with a toddler in tow. These delays really took the shine off what should have been a seamless luxury experience. The hotel also appears unfinished in places. The private garden area of our suite felt hastily completed, the path to the beach wasn’t yet properly built, and the beach itself was dirty — not quite what you’d expect from the Fairmont brand. That said, the staff were warm, kind, and clearly eager to deliver a great experience. Jimmy in the breakfast kitchen and Javier from concierge were especially lovely — our toddler lit up around them, and their genuine warmth didn’t go unnoticed. All in all, this hotel has great potential — the setting and design are fantastic — but it will need time, experience, and a bit more polish before it delivers the true Fairmont standard.
