Perfect 5-Star Beach Escape, Grand mercure Hotel khao lak room 4102, 4103. Family and couple reunion. This hotel was the ideal choice for a family or couples vacation. Located on the quieter side of Thailand in khao lak, about an hour from the phuket International Airport. With access to the beach, it provided a peaceful and safe setting for kids and adults yet was still easy to reach with a taxi or scooter hire for exploring nearby attractions. The Thai style resort layout spread across ponds, pools, and greenery. Our spacious room with direct pool access made every day convenient, no matter the weather. The hotel provided thoughtful extras like unlimited daily glass water bottles, teas and coffee, gowns, slippers, and even a beach bag, an umbrella, which made our stay extra comfortable The bathroom was huge, and a walk-in shower with a glass window and closed shutters to your bedroom. Breakfast was a real treat, offering a wide variety of cuisines, fresh healthy juices, and new teas that i haven't tried before to suit every palate. Staff were consistently attentive and warm, going above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome, especially Lily, Annie, Hanif at reception Nat, Mawin, Dew at breakfast Paul, the general manager All the staff, the complimentary shuttle on the premises, were exceptional, friendly, helpful, and attentive to our every need. A wonderful blend of luxury, relaxation, and family-friendly comfort — highly recommended for anyone travelling with kids. A kids' playroom, a gym, a spa, live music every Saturday at Green Mango restaurant on the premises, and complimentary equipment for kayaking, body board, and stand-up paddle boards Also provided a charged shuttle service per seat to the night market and Khaolak Centre every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. Within walking distance, there are restaurants, a convenience store, a filling station, massage options, and souvenir shops. Beach loungers whisked you away in forgotten time. With a fresh coconut drink in one hand. The Tranquillity and serenity all in one place.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The location was ideal, and the cleanliness and maintenance were impressive. A Thai cook at breakfast was super nice and friendly; he remembered my name and always greeted me with a warm smile. He was the tallest member of the staff—I'm sorry I didn’t catch his name. There was a great variety of breakfast options, with both Thai and international cuisine available. I loved the cozy seating areas, which remained clean even during busy times. Our pool access room was stylish and enjoyable, though it had a slight humidity smell. However, they provided a dehumidifier and an aroma burner but we had to request the burner each evening during our four-night stay. The hotel is in a great location—not too busy—though it is a bit far from the Khaolak center. However, we didn’t mind staying in. Dinner options were limited, especially for vegetarians. Although we aren’t full-time vegetarians, we appreciated the availability of comfort food without meat, like simple pasta dish or Thai food without meat. Overall, our stay was wonderful.

We stayed here for our anniversary and were truly impressed. The hotel arranged everything beautifully for our special day and even surprised us with a thoughtful special gift – we were so touched! 💛 The staff are incredibly friendly and always greet you with a smile. Service is attentive and makes you feel well taken care of. The room is spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. Breakfast is delicious with a good variety. There are two swimming pools to enjoy, and the hotel is located right on Bangsak Beach, which is quiet and not crowded at all – perfect for a relaxing and peaceful holiday. Truly worth every penny and highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind.

All staff were so friendly and could not do enough to help. The room was luxurious and well appointed. Pool access rooms are definitely worth it. A great variety for breakfast with a lovely eating area that never felt busy due to it's design. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance on the street and on the beach. The perfect place to relax and recharge.
