Grand Mercure Magnetic Island is located in Tropical North Queensland, approximately a 20-minute ferry ride off the coast from Townsville. Return ferry and airport transfers are not included in your stay, please plan accordingly.

The ferry service that operates between Townsville and Magnetic Island has daily departures from 5.30am to 11.30pm (charges apply).

No Worries… If your booking is with a property located in Australia or New Zealand you can make unlimited changes to the date of your booking, as long as it’s at least 21 days before your original check-in date. If the property is located in any other country you may make unlimited date changes up to 1 day before check-in. This is provided you choose dates that are of an equal value and are available. One-Bedroom Apartment and One-Bedroom Ocean-View Apartment – Packages are valid for two adults.

Maximum Room Capacity: The maximum room capacity is two adults and one baby. Additional guests are not permitted.

Baby Policy: One baby (aged under two years) may stay free of charge and will not count towards the room capacity. A cot can be provided by the resort for a surcharge of A$10 per night.

Two-Bedroom Apartment and Two-Bedroom Ocean-View Apartment – Packages are valid for four people.

Maximum Room Capacity: The maximum room capacity is five people.

Extra Guest/Child Policy: One additional guest (aged two years and above) may stay for a surcharge of A$50 per night, sleeping on existing bedding with accommodation only. Payable directly to the resort.

Baby Policy: One baby (aged under two years) may stay free of charge in existing bedding and will count towards the room capacity. A cot can be provided by the resort for a surcharge of A$10 per night.

Connecting rooms are not available.
