Green Island Resort is hidden a serene 45-minute journey from Cairns, on its very own coral cay in the glittering Coral Sea. The only coral cay of its kind with a rainforest in the exquisite Great Barrier Marine Park, this secluded hideaway invites you to relax on the sun-kissed shores, discover the marine life below the translucent surface and take a walk through nature.

Scheduled 45-minute (each way) roundtrip catamaran transfers directly to Green Island Resort from Cairns are included in your package. Please contact the resort directly to organise. Transfers from Cairns Airport (CNS) to Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal are not included. Please plan accordingly.

Important Update: From March 24, 2022, a new cancellation policy applies to this offer:

Free cancellation: You can cancel your booking for Cudo credit up until 21 days prior to the original check-in date. This can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account. Your Cudo credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

Please note this does not apply to insurance or flights booked with Cudo. Flight fulfilment is provided by the airline(s) selected at the time of finalising the booking. For your air travel, you are bound by the terms and conditions and fare rules of the selected airline(s).

Check Availability: To confirm your dates of stay at purchase, click on ‘Check Availability’ and select your preferred package. Use the calendar to browse and select available dates. Dates with a surcharge are identified.

Buy Now, Choose Dates Later: If you want to secure this offer and don’t know when you want to travel please select ‘Buy Now, Choose Dates Later’. This will secure your package and give you the flexibility to choose your travel dates — within the book by and validity period and subject to availability. To select dates post purchase, simply select ‘My Escapes’ under the ‘My Account’ tab and follow the prompts.

7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for Tour bookings and flights) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 21 days prior to the check-in date.

Feel Like Changing Your Dates? No Worries… If your booking is with a property located in Australia or New Zealand you can make unlimited changes to the date of your hotel booking, as long as it’s at least 21 days before your original check-in date. If the property is located in any other country you may make unlimited date changes up to 1 day before check-in. This is provided you choose dates that are of an equal value and are available. Any change to booking dates is subject to availability and must be made online in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. Please note unlimited changes are not applicable for flights.

• Green Island Resort reserves the right to amend package inclusions, where required, to adhere to current government restrictions. This may include services relating to room servicing, minibar, buffet breakfast and some activities. In the event a restriction has been applied to an inclusion, Green Island Resort will provide an alternative option of equal value. For further details, please contact the resort directly to discuss.
• Please note that the Great Barrier Reef cruise with Great Adventures Cruise boards at 11.15am for departure at 11.30am and returns to the resort at 4.25pm. Bookings must be made with resort reception upon arrival.
• One child aged 14 and under eats free from the kids’ menu for dinner per adult purchasing a main meal from the à la carte menu. Valid for dinner at Emeralds Restaurant & Bar.
• Dining Credit: The included credit must be used during your stay. Any unused credit will be forfeited and is not transferrable or redeemable for cash. Dining credit can be used for either lunch or dinner. No minimum number of guests required. No minimum spend required.
• Diving Discount: Minimum diving age in Queensland is 12+ and certain medical conditions may prohibit guests from participating. Guests 11 and under will not be permitted.
• Pool or rainforest view rooms are subject to availability on day of arrival.
• Fish feeding will be hosted on select days of the week only (currently Monday to Thursday) and is subject to change.
• Complimentary use of snorkels, canoes, kayaks, windsurfing gear and more is available on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday only, however may be subject to change.
• Guests will have the choice of one cold item and one hot item at breakfast instead of a buffet breakfast due to COVID-19 limitations. This is subject to change.

Roundtrip Catamaran Transfers from Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal:

• From Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal to Green Island: Depart Cairns 8.30am (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday) and 10.30am (Monday & Wednesday). Please proceed to Great Adventures/Green Island Resort check-in counter for your boarding passes.
• From Green Island to Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal: Departs 2.30pm (Friday–Sunday) and 4:30pm (Monday & Wednesday). Turnaround vessel time is subject to change.
• Transfer times are subject to change, refer to link for the most up-to-date information.
• Special request transfers are available, however, they must be pre-booked at least 45 days prior to arrival.
• There is no ferry service on Tuesday or Thursday.
• Important: Roundtrip catamaran transfers are available Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays only. Transfers for all guests are valid only for one-time use on arrival and departure. Luggage is subject to a maximum weight of 23kg per guest. Luggage will be required to be repacked if over the maximum weight.
• Important: Arrival/departure on Tuesdays and Thursdays is possible by helicopter only at the guest’s expense. Nautilus Aviation is offering Cudo customers a 25% discount per person for a one-way transfer from Cairns to Green Island or vice versa.
