I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The property is truly luxurious and beautifully maintained. The hotel staff were very polite, professional, and welcoming throughout my stay. I had originally booked a suite (one bedroom + living room) and a separate room. To my pleasant surprise, they upgraded and connected the two rooms into a two-bedroom suite with a living area — this was very thoughtful and made my stay even more comfortable. However, I would like to highlight one issue regarding the valet parking service. I handed over my car to the valet, but during my stay I noticed that the car was moved to different parking spots three times without informing me. I believe this should have been communicated, as it made me feel uneasy about how the vehicle was being handled. Overall, I highly recommend the hotel for its quality and excellent service, but I do hope the valet service is improved.

I stayed at Al Habtoor Palace Hotel on May 5, 2025, and unfortunately, my experience did not meet the expectations I had for a luxury five-star property. From the moment I arrived, I noticed unprofessional behavior from some staff members. I felt that I was treated differently depending on what I was wearing. When I wasn’t wearing a traditional kandora, the attitude of certain staff noticeably changed, which was disappointing. During check-in, one of the receptionists, an Egyptian woman, tried to explain the difference between room options with or without breakfast. She spoke quickly and only in her local dialect, which may not be easy for everyone to understand. When I asked her to clarify, she responded impatiently and with a rude tone. When I asked if something was wrong, she denied being upset, but her behavior clearly said otherwise. Inside my room, I noticed some maintenance issues. The bedside light wasn’t working, and there was a visible crack in the bathtub. These are basic things that should be checked before a guest checks in. Whenever I handed my clothes to the reception team for assistance, most staff were polite and helpful, except for one Egyptian woman who told me to take them to the concierge myself. That should not be the guest’s responsibility. I wondered what her role was if not to assist with such matters. The gym was also very disappointing. It was extremely small and filled with outdated equipment. It didn’t feel like a proper fitness facility for a hotel of this standard. On my last day, I noticed insect bites on my legs, which may have come from the bed. I can’t confirm for sure, but it’s concerning and raises questions about cleanliness. What frustrated me most was that after I left a review, no one from the hotel contacted me or offered any apology or explanation for what I experienced. That lack of follow-up says a lot about how customer feedback is handled. I hope management takes these comments seriously and works to improve the guest experience. A hotel with such a name and reputation should aim much higher.
