Airport transfers are not included in your package, though you will be allocated a complimentary golf buggy on arrival, which you can use to transfer to the villa. On arrival, you will be allocated your complimentary golf buggy, which you can use to transfer yourselves to the villa – a lavish retreat situated in a secure, gated community. Blissfully car-free, Hamilton Island is a joy to navigate. Use your buggy throughout your stay, which you can conveniently park outside of your villa; perhaps venture to the beautiful Catseye Beach or stock up on supplies at the local IGA, both only five minutes away.
Plunge into the resort’s lavish outdoor pool (or any of the other resort pools on Hamilton Island) or enjoy complimentary use of non-motorised watersports including kayaks, catamarans and snorkel gear. Dry off with your complimentary beach towels and stretch your legs on a two-minute stroll to the marina or hop on the complimentary shuttle that navigates the island between 7am and 11pm and explore further afield.

Whitehaven Beach Half-Day Tour (Upgrade Packages Only):
- Upgrade includes four adult tickets. Additional tickets can be purchased at checkout at special rates: A$108 per adult aged 15 years and over, A$103 per senior aged 65 years and over, and A$42 per child aged 14 years and under (no charge applies for infants aged three years and below).
- Journey Beyond will be in touch within 1-2 business days to book in your desired date.
- This experience is weather dependent and may be cancelled and/or postponed for safety reasons. If your trip is cancelled, you will be offered a rescheduled date.

Golf Buggy Conditions
- The golf buggy may only be driven by guests who hold a current full driver’s licence that complies with Australian Standards – Learner or Provisional licences are not accepted. Evidence will be required at the time of pick-up. Also upon pick-up, a credit card is required for security in case of damages. A $1.00 bond settled via a pre-authorisation to the Customer’s credit card is required. No insurance is available and the customer is responsible for any damages. The buggy and keys must be returned upon check-out.
- Under Queensland law it is essential for children aged four years and under to wear a seatbelt or child restraint when travelling in a golf buggy. Customers are requested to advise how many child restraints are required prior to stay to ensure availability and fitting.
- All roads on Hamilton Island are governed by the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads, therefore, all traffic and road rules apply to any vehicle including golf buggies using the road network. Seat belts are mandatory.
Customer Cleaning Responsibilities
All Yacht Club Villas are supplied with equipment to assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the villa. At the end of the stay, customers are required to clean the BBQ (if applicable), clean and put away all dishes and empty the rubbish. A penalty cleaning fee to a maximum of A$250 will be charged if these areas are not cleaned. Any damage to the villa or inventory will be charged back to the customer.
Entertaining
Customers may not use the villa for entertaining purposes unless prior written permission has been obtained from HIHH. This extends to but is not limited to parties or functions within the villa.
Please note: The Hamilton Island Main Pool will be closed for works during the following dates: 27 May 2022 – 24 June 2022 (inclusive). During this time guests will continue to have access to the pool in their own hotel or Holiday Home complex and these resort pools: Bougainvillea Pool and Sails Pool.
