The hotel is conveniently nestled in the heart of it all, the shops, restaurants, and trams. It’s beautiful and charming hotel which seemed the rooms are newly renovated. The staff are always helpful, had a seamless check in. I would definitely stay here again the next time we are in Amsterdam

This hotel was perfect in nearly every way. The staff were extremely friendly. The room was immaculate, very spacious and beautifully decorated. The location was absolutely perfect as you are just on the outside of the city center, so you are a 5 minute walk from the hop-on/hop-off bus stop, as well as nearly every canal tour boat. 5-10 walk to the museum quarter and 10-25 min walk that all of the city centre has to offer. Fitness centre far exceeded my expectations. The only reason the hotel was not a 10 for us was that the breakfast was VERY disappointing as it was a fairly expensive add-on and there were very little options. I am currently in a hotel in Brussels that the breakfast add-on is about 8€ less and has 2-3 times the breakfast options.

Nice boutique hotel, great location! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom had great water pressure. The reason why I am not giving this review a 5 star is because the lighting in the room and especially the bathroom is very dim. It needs to be updated! Luckily I had a makeup light with me, but it was still dim. We did enjoy our stay and it is close to many things, it is next to the canal, shopping, restaurants, the bus and the train station are right outside.

As a self-employed professional who travels frequently for work, I generally know what to expect from a 4-star hotel. Unfortunately, this was not it. For the €465 per night I paid, I expected comfort — not discomfort. In terms of price versus quality, this is by far the most disappointing hotel I’ve stayed at. While the location is perfect and the building (both interior and exterior) has charm and character, that’s unfortunately where the positives end. My stay was disrupted by loud slamming doors (especially from late-night guests), constant noise from both inside and outside the hotel, and chair dragging in the breakfast room starting from 6 a.m. The fan in the bathroom couldn’t be operated, making noise constantly. On the second night, despite being assured things would be calmer, there was a private party with live music into the early hours — and due to the event, the hotel bar and restaurant were closed, which is something guests should be informed of in advance. Breakfast was very limited, with powdered eggs and a reservation system that left me with less-than-pleasant seating. The room itself was narrow and clean, and the sink was oddly placed at the entrance & in the sleeping area under a low ceiling where mold was visible. Workspace was too small for me. All in all, the hotel has potential and friendly staff, but it simply didn’t deliver the level of comfort or value one should expect in this category. I hope this honest feedback helps improve the guest experience moving forward.
