Stayed here for three days in mid-June, checked in immediately after landing in Sydney. I had some extra needs with shipping my luggage, and the front desk staff were instrumental in making it happen. The hotel was easy to communicate with prior to arrival. Room was comfortable and the linens and towels were clean, breakfast was plentiful and tasted good. There is a luggage scale in the lobby available for convenience. cons - The affiliated paid shuttle service to and from the airport is about the same price as a rideshare, and slightly less convenient. While I appreciate the bamboo door hangers (do not disturb sign) for their eco-friendliness, when it got caught in the door it shattered and became unusable.

We stayed here one night after our flight was canceled.. after a long day and a disappointing start to an amazing holiday the staff at the hotel were so lovely. Very accommodating and gave us a late checkout so we didn’t have to sit around the airport any longer than necessary the next day. The rooms were comfortable and spotless. Overall would highly recommend..

I had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel, which in no way lives up to its claimed 4-star status. It feels more like a 3-star at best. Upon check-in, I found the shower dirty, with dried-up soap residue on the glass. The bed sheets had hair on them, and when I called reception to have them changed, it took 45 minutes and three follow-up calls before anyone came. When someone finally arrived, they clearly didn’t know how to make the bed properly. The fitted and flat sheets were done incorrectly, leaving the duvet exposed. This was unsanitary, especially since it clearly hadn’t been replaced. To make matters worse, the cushioned chair in the room had a large yellow stain. The staff member placed the clean sheets on this stained chair which was completely unacceptable. I raised these concerns with the front desk, but they were dismissive and unhelpful, offering no meaningful resolution or follow-up. The staff across the board were rude and poorly trained, and there seemed to be no willingness to take accountability or offer any kind of compensation. The free breakfast was subpar and not worth mentioning beyond that. The hotel also charges $15 for a shuttle to the airport, which is only 15 minutes away—a service many nearby hotels offer for free. This stay took away from my trip rather than enhancing it. There are far better options in the area with better service, cleanliness, and professionalism. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Save your time, energy, and money and stay elsewhere where the staff care and the standards meet expectations.

If you don’t want to miss your early morning flight — do not stay here! I booked this hotel because it’s close to the airport, but their valet car park system is a nightmare and cost my family our entire holiday. At check-in, I told staff I had an early morning flight. They gave me almost no instructions beyond “park between the yellow lines.” When I tried to exit at after 7am, the roller door wouldn’t open. There were no clear signs, no instructions, and no direct number to call for onsite help. Calling the hotel went to the IHG call centre, where I was stuck in an automated menu, then transferred to someone overseas who didn’t even work in the building. After wasting nearly 20 minutes on the phone, my daughter eventually found a hidden comms speaker. Only then did we learn you have to line your car up perfectly on a weigh plate, at an awkward angle, to trigger the roller door. It took multiple attempts and tight turns to get out. By the time we finally exited, we had lost 25–30 minutes and missed our flights — costing us over $12,000 in lost tickets and holiday plans. When I called the duty manager (“Mitch”) to explain, he was rude, condescending, and completely unsympathetic. Instead of apologising or offering any support, he told me it was “my fault” for not working out their unusual system. When I asked for his surname, he even admitted he hadn’t given me his real name and hung up laughing. This was an appalling experience. The lack of signage, absence of staff support, and dismissive attitude of management make this hotel completely unsuitable for anyone relying on a stress-free airport stay. Avoid this property if you have early flights — it’s not worth the risk.
