Let me start off with the things I really loved: 1) You simply cannot get a better location than this. It's close to everything including the Metro and you will be able to go out every night for a beautiful walk seeing all sorts of architecture and statues and piazza's well after the crowds have left without having to take a cab. It's incredibly safe and lovely. I love that there's a water fountain right outside the hotel to fill up with! 2) The staff! Giancarlo was so delightful every morning in greeting us and making sure that everything was fine and that we were happy. He always put a smile on my face everyday which is an amazing way to start the day! The busboy (I cannot remember his name but he was a young gentleman) was also so kind and gracious and kind. He just kind of puts you at ease. The night staff made you feel like you were coming back to your house. They were so welcoming, and patient with my bad Italian! :-) they taught me new words and make great conversation. As far as things that I would have changed: 1) I really would have loved a little more storage space for our clothes so we could fully unpack. I completely understand that as Americans we are used to a lot of space, but I think that having drawers under the beds would alleviate that problem. I absolutely adored staying here and highly recommend that this be on your list of places to consider

My family and I had an amazing experience here. Service is exception with the staff catering to your every need in a respectful fashion. Breakfast service was amazing, they service coffee to you at the table. They assisted us with booking taxi. Location is very central and walkable to Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps. Overall amazing experience.

The hotel was in a great location, near the Spanish Steps and so many restaurants and shops. It was one block off of the main street and was tucked away on a quiet little street. We loved the interior courtyard for reading , chatting and getting some fresh air. Francesca, Alessia, Annalisa and Christian, Grota, John, Sandra and Pasquale from the front desk staff were stellar, helping us with requests we had as well as assisting with dinner reservations in the area. A shout out for Giancarlo as well! Piano, Aurela and Christel from Housekeeping were also very helpful. The staff were all very professional and quick to assist in whatever way they could. We loved the daily breakfast also, very nice selection of items! We would highly recommend.

Stayed here for multiple nights. Cleanliness and maintenance is an issue. Location is great but not worth it considering there are so many other great hotels nearby. We extended our stay a day before some major issues with the shower. It was clogged and would spill out onto the floor. I let the reception know and they said they would handle it immediately….. that evening it was clear that they forgot and never bothered. We had to throw towels on the floor because it was late at night, we were tired and the phone didn’t work to call reception. At 3am my son starts screaming after using the bathroom. I go check and the bathroom floor was covered in tiny ants. And some silver insects from humid spaces. I look at the bed and the ants had climbed onto the bed we had been sleeping on and crawled on us!!!!!! Again, the phone isn’t working and I head downstairs in pijamas at 3am with my son to request a room change. I had to also pack all of our things up at this time. We get a new room that had questionable cleanliness. Now this shower door is broken and they tell me they couldn’t fix it but they can send towels to lay on the floor if it gets wet. For all this inconvenience, I received only 30% discount for one night and no charge for one soda. They told me to expect to the discount via expedia which hasn’t contacted me yet or provided details and I’m unsure then if I’ll even receive it. For this inconvenience, I expected more. I would NOT recommend this hotel. Not to mention that you can hear EVERYTHING. One night I was awake since 5am from the banging of steps above and then again at 8am from the cleaning ladies slamming doors from nearby rooms. We extended our stay in Rome and moved to a wonderful hotel nearby where you can control the AC (we could only control it in the second room, not the ants room) . We wish we had stayed elsewhere our entire Rome stay.
