Extensive breakfast buffet included which is great considering how expensive dining in iceland is. Dinner buffet also dad a large variety. We ordered off the menu the second night which was very good and reasonable by Iceland costs. Nice hot tub also. Nice location for sightseeing southern Iceland.

We liked this hotel. There are several buildings with rooms. The check-in process was seamless. We got a newer room with beautiful decor (other than the wall behind the bed… needs a paint job). The breakfast was amazing, with many options. This is a tour bus place, so it makes sense. Loads of parking. Negatives: The loud slamming of the exterior door from everyone coming into the building (a real bother). No fridge.

The hotel was located outside the town, which was about 7 minutes' drive. There was a restaurant offering buffet breakfast and dinner. The place was great since it was very spacious and the variety was relatively wide. The rooms were in a few individual buildings. The setting inside the room was very convenient for guests, such as electricity sockets and bench for opening the luggages. The ceiling was high and the window was wide. Like other hotels in the country, there was only a glass wall covering half of the showering area. Water would certainly go out from the area. The lamps on the head board were also a mistake in my opinion. They would hurt the back or the head of the visitors. If the installation position was higher, it be better.

The advertisements and price gave the impression of a luxury resort experience, but this was simple hotel stay. Restaurant was nice for dinner with the buffet. Solid breakfast spread included. Rooms are spacious and the curtains kept out the light well. The location is also very convenient outside Vik along the ring road. Unfortunately, just not quite the value I had been hoping for. It did have hot tub, sauna, and fitness room - which was all nice.
