Fantastic accommodation. It felt luxurious and was way more than just a Hotel Room. The room was very comfortable and very large. The bed and bedding were very comfortable and clean. In fact the entire Hotel was very clean. Very quiet location with amazing views of the lake and mountains. Staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived early to drop off our bags but were pleasantly informed that our room was ready and we were allowed to use it. The lobby had a fire place which made for a cozy place to sit and relax. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but the coffee's were perfect. It was a short walk into the center of town. There is a Bus stop very close by as well. The Queenstown Buses were brilliant. We purchased a Bee Card at the Airport for NZ$5 (2 people can share 1 card) and were able to use it to get into town for NZ$2 per person (website says you must register it online to get the $2 fares). Buses depart every 15min from early until late.

Overall, this is a very nice hotel with great amenities. However, I wanted to point out a key area for improvement, especially for a property that caters to skiers and winter travelers. The hotel's interior was quite cold and lacked the cozy warmth one typically seeks after a day in the snow. I believe addressing this would significantly enhance the comfort and satisfaction of all guests, and I hope it's something the hotel considers for the future.

Stayed in room 311, literally the entire stay at all hours you hear constant knocking/pounding on the walls/ceiling. The kitchen/bar/restaurant must be directly above you and it is super annoying hearing constant tapping. Hearing it right through until almost midnight and again in the morning at all times, I'm still scarred by it. The balcony is miniature, it's only big enough for one person to stand on. Breakfast was flavourless and boring and the same every single day, worst omelette of my life and trying to get softly poached eggs on toast was impossible. The fireplace in reception broke down so there was no warmth in the lobby of the hotel which, for an alpine ski town, you would expect to have. Overall, for $600+ a night, I can't justify it when there are heaps of better options available. Would not stay here again and incredibly disappointed.
