5 stars for the amazing service from Geraldine and Nico at the front desk...both have been so gracious and helpful with tasks, directions and amenities. Their openness and knowledge of the surrounding areas is so greatly appreciated. The rooms themselves are quite well-designed and for the EU very spacious...the hotel also has a business center that works quite well. Beautiful pool that isn't overcrowded. Would stay here again.

Excellent hotel. Great pool area and spa. It’s best to get a room with Club Lounge access as this gets you into the lounge which provides free drinks all day, a nice breakfast, extra snacks and gets you into the pool and spa without extra charge. Big room, well equipped, very comfy!

I was extremely happy with my stay at the InterContinental Berlin. From the moment we arrived, the experience was fantastic...the check-in was honestly the best I’ve ever had at any hotel. The staff member who greeted us was warm, kind, and welcoming, and really set the tone for the rest of our stay. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. The location is excellent, easy to walk to many of Berlin’s highlights, and with a bus stop right outside the door, getting anywhere else in the city couldn’t be easier. Overall, this hotel delivers comfort, convenience, and truly exceptional service. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Berlin. My only complaint is that they gave us a free welcome drink at the bar, but only beer and wine were included. As I do not drink, beer and wine, I would have appreciated if cocktails were also an option for this amenity.

The hotel has a convenient location just a 10-minute walk to the train station and about 30 minutes to the airport by car. It’s right next to Berlin Zoo and close to several cafes and restaurants, which is a plus. The building is older but has been renovated. The lobby is spacious and features several conference rooms, making it more of a business-oriented hotel. One nice touch was the lobby café offering halal food options. However, the service leaves a lot to be desired. Communication before my stay was difficult due to an automated voice system, which made it frustrating to get answers to basic questions. The in-room service line was also automated and unhelpful. Staff weren’t particularly friendly or attentive when I asked for an extra bottle of water, I was told only one is provided per room per day. Breakfast is good but can have more verity. Check in and out processes are slow, with such large property i think more staff is needed. The hotel does offer amenities like a spa, gym, and pool, which are decent, but overall, the experience felt impersonal. It’s an okay place to stay if you prioritize location or are traveling for business, but don’t expect warm hospitality.
