I stayed at this hotel for a week while attending OPIE2025. It’s conveniently connected to the Pacifico Yokohama Convention Center, which made getting to the event fast and easy. The stay was smooth from start to finish. The room was flawless and had a stunning view of the ocean, especially during sunset. I spent countless hours just watching the boats go by. Breakfast was very good — the shrimp sandwich and the full Japanese option from the menu were especially memorable. The restaurant also offers a nice variety of drinks and beers throughout the day. Overall, a great experience.

Best location on a gentrified area with everything you can think about nearby - till the evening, then it becomes a ghost town. Everything closes early, including every restaurant and bar in the hotel, as well as nearby combinis. The hotel itself is very nice and elegant with several restaurants. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well stacked. However, everything closes in the early evening. If you're an early bird, this would be the place to stay. A little problem with climate control with the room being too warm even at the lowest temperature setting.

Our two-night stay at the InterContinental Grand was beyond our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the grand entrance took our breath away. The staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly, and accommodating throughout our stay. The room itself was incredibly spacious, with a pleasant view of the harbour. While the direct sunlight meant we often kept the blackout blinds closed, the overall comfort of the space more than made up for it. The king-size bed was very comfortable, paired with soft, cozy pillows, ensuring a great night’s rest. The washroom was equally impressive—spacious with excellent water pressure and temperature. Breakfast was absolutely outstanding. The buffet offered an incredible selection, and the pictures I’ve attached show exactly what was available both days. I especially appreciated the authentic Japanese dishes that changed daily, such as different soups and vegetables. The location was also very convenient. Just minutes away from a 24-hour 7/11, within walking distance to a beautiful shopping mall and amusement park, and only about seven minutes by car to a 24-hour Don Quijote. We rented a car, and parking was within walking distance, though we later discovered it’s closed from 07:00–24:00, which is worth noting. Overall, this hotel was absolutely worth the stay, and we would highly recommend it.

Some positives— hotel is very clean and staff provides great service and is hospitable but unfortunately will not be returning to this hotel again. I ordered a pizza in and they weren’t allowed inside the building as it goes against their hotel policy. I wish hotel management would change their mind in regards to this as clients come from all over the world and they should be allowed to have food delivered. I travel all over the world and I have never seen this policy in place. This policy is very inconvenient for people with different food preferences— yes the hotel has food but the options are limited. Im giving 3 stars for this reason.
