I loved my stay at Kimpton Shinjuku Tokyo! The hotel has a sleek, modern luxury design that feels both stylish and comfortable. The staff were incredibly attentive and warm, especially the front desk team and the breakfast staff on the 2nd floor, who made mornings a pleasure. I say this hotel was made for millennial travelers since it’s luxurious, pet friendly but doesn’t scream snooty like other luxury brands. They embrace diversity and inclusion which is the type of brand I’d love to support! This was my first Kimpton stay and it definitely left a great impression! I’m already intrigued and looking forward to trying more Kimpton properties. Location-wise, it’s on the quieter side of Shinjuku, which I actually loved. It’s still within a reasonable walk (15-20 min on flat ground) to Shinjuku Station and the busier tourist/night club areas, but feels more relaxed and less hectic when you’re back at the hotel. If you’re looking to be in the hustle and bustle of clubbing and bars at your doorstep this isn’t the place for you. Housekeeping also went above and beyond to keep our room refreshed and spotless each day. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a modern, welcoming stay in Tokyo!

Incredible hotel in Tokyo! We stayed for 7 nights, ate breakfast at the hotel most mornings, and dinner one night too. Loved their free drinks social hour. Staff was so accommodating for everything. Everything was SO clean. Walk to the train station or taxi everywhere. Highly recommend!

Up there with one of my favourite hotel experiences to date. The location was perfect, just 9 minute walk from Shinjuku station. The reception team were incredibly hospitable and the check in process was smooth. The room itself was perfect, plenty of space and modern fittings. I only ate breakfast in the hotel but it was exceptional every day. Would highly recommend this place to anyone coming to Tokyo for a few days of sight seeing!

Our 4 night stay was great! We opted for the included breakfast when we booked and it was such a good decision. The breakfast has a wide variety of selections and everything was made to order. The service was also great, such a friendly staff. I now want a morning energy shot everyday 😅 We had a king bed room and it was spacious for the 2 of us for 4 nights. I love the towels, such great quality. The vanity area was 👌👌👌👌👌 I appreciate the double sided mirror so we can each get ready at the same time, I loveeeee the way you can pull the walls and close off the entire bathroom, shower, sink area so it's private!! Excellent design choice. The staff overall are so nice and friendly! The front desk was very helpful and even helped me pack a box that I needed shipped locally. The area is convenient! Bus stop 51 is right around the corner and is better to get around than going to the Shinjuku station, less walking too.
