I recently stayed at this charming hotel in the heart of Paris, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. The staff truly stood out—everyone was incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming from the moment I arrived. Their genuine warmth made the stay feel personalized and comfortable. The location is absolutely fantastic, right in the vibrant neighborhood of Le Marais. Being within walking distance of so many iconic spots, trendy cafes, and boutiques made exploring Paris effortless and enjoyable. My room was spotless and very comfortable, offering a peaceful retreat after busy days in the city. One of my favorite features was the courtyard—not a garden in the traditional sense, but a lovely, quaint space perfect for relaxing and escaping the hustle and bustle of Parisian streets. The ambiance there was serene and charming, ideal for a quiet moment with a book or a morning coffee. The only downside was that the hotel’s decor felt a bit dated. However, this isn’t unusual for many Parisian accommodations, especially in older buildings with classic charm. During my last visit, I stayed in an apartment with similar vintage vibes, so it didn’t detract too much from the overall experience. Despite that, the comfort, cleanliness, and excellent service more than made up for it. In summary, this hotel offers a great combination of location, comfort, and friendly service. If you’re looking to stay in Le Marais with easy access to all that Paris has to offer, this is a fantastic choice. The charming courtyard and welcoming staff really made my stay memorable.

Slightly worried after seeing some very Negative reviews, but we had an amazing stay. The Hotel was excellent, the staff friendly and helpful, the room was great and the breakfast was lovely. As a family of 3, we could not have enjoyed our stay more and would thoroughly recommend, I didn’t hear anything negative from other guests. Keep up the good work Les Jardins Du Marais, a hidden gem of a hotel in a fantastic City. Thank you to all your staff

I was happily surprised with this hotel. The service was top notch. Breakfast included was top notch. All our needs were quickly addressed. Henrique at the front desk was superb. He listened and quickly resolved anything that was needing attention. Also, Romain who took care of us at checkout was quick & very helpful. This hotel is a real gem.

I sat on writing this review because the experience was so comical. But after thinking about it thoroughly, I decided to write a review. In short, is this is NOT a 4 star hotel. I used to live in Paris and have visited many times, staying in all kinds of hotels. This was my first time at this particular one—I wanted to take a shot on something new rather than go to somewhere I knew in the same area. While the hotel technically ticks the boxes for a 4-star rating, the service falls well below that standard—more in line with a 2-star experience. From the chaotic and cold check-in process, to the missing toiletries on arrival and random restocking of toiletries throughout the stay, to the mysterious disappearance of two out of three bathrobes mid-stay (cleaning decided we didn't need robes anymore?), to the time I requested a knife and plates and was instead brought cups (after calling multiple times), to the turn down service that also mysteriously started 4 or 5 nights into the stay —the service was inconsistent, disorganized, and frustrating. Yes, the rooms are spacious—which is what sold me on the place over other nearby options. However, the rooms are dated and feel old. But if I’d known the service would be this poor, making the stay feel uncomfortable and unwelcoming, I never would have booked it. You can feel how the manager does not care and it shows in the hotel staff with the lack of training. So, if you’re looking for a 4-star experience in Paris, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.
