Mantra Hervey Bay

We stayed at Mantra Hervey Bay during the school holidays and had a lovely time as a family. The serviced apartments were clean, well-appointed, and offered everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is fantastic, with beautiful marina views and a great selection of restaurants just a short stroll away. It made dining out with the kids a breeze, with plenty of family-friendly options close by. Parking in the secure area was a bit tricky when returning later in the evening, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker; just something to keep in mind if you're planning a busy day out. The hotel amenities were decent, though we were a little disappointed that the pool was temporarily closed due to a chemical imbalance. Hopefully, that’s now fixed as it would’ve been a great way to cool off after a day of exploring. There is a nice beach just a 5-10min walk away. All in all, Mantra Hervey Bay delivered a solid and enjoyable stay. It’s a great base for families looking to soak up the relaxed coastal vibe of Hervey Bay. We’d happily return!

The location is amazing book a marina view room. Staff at desk are good 1 was super helpful the other was OK. The is as are good size but do need some tiding up. A bit drab in places. Pool is great and close to whale watching boats, chinese restaurant and club.

The reception team were spectacular and so kind putting me in a marina view room as it was my first time go Hervey Bay. Although it was a great room position a few things to note. The room is a great size for one bedroom the couch was super comfy. AC is great but only in the living and kitchen area. The bed is in a room with sliding shutter doors with a fan. The bed was too hard for me and could benefit from a bed topper or updated bed with a pillow top. The room was super clean but smelt very strongly of bleach. I suggest room reed diffusers of scents of some kind to create a more welcoming feel. The room was very dated and does need an upgrade. Bench tops kitchen and bathroom are very old style but have a lot of room and the kitchenette was excellent. Great little balcony to watch all the boat happenings. Might get noisy in peak season. Nice fresh white towels and lovely body wash and moisturiser. Restaurants close by and everything is close by. Shower was great pressure too. Probably don't need a spa bath if they do a refurb. $303 was a bit expensive for the quality and age of the room. Think $250 should be max until upgrades happen.
