The hotel was amazing. The location, the staff, the rooms and the facilities were all above all expectations. I was especially happy about the facilities there for children. The crib and the play room for kids was amazing. Best choice for families with small children. They were even kind enough to give a high floor towards the other side of soi 11 so that noise would be minimal.

We stayed here for 2 nights when passing through Bangkok. The location cannot be beaten if you want a vibrant nightlife. Through the day, the street was a bit quieter and had some nice conveniences. Check in was swift and pleasant. It was nice to enter the room and they had some stuff set up for my birthday. The room was great, 14th floor with nice views and great AC. The executive lounge left a bit to be desired. The afternoon tea was poor, but the cocktail hour (or 2) made up for it. Staff in here were friendly and attentive. It would be nice to be able to use the welcome drinks for a beer, rather than just soft drinks or water. A great stay and good value, would not hesitate to stay here again.

Perfect hotel. The condition and standard of room, and everything inside was very high. Very clean and super well maintained. Very helpful and professional staff. Concierge and front security always striving to assist. Family room was wonderful. We liked it so much we stayed on two separate occasions during our trip. Just note it’s on a very lively road although back rooms experience no noise.

I’ve been to Bangkok many times, this will be my first and only time staying in mercure. Firstly, the location is a distance away from the Main Street. My room is located at level 4 and I can clearly hear noise from the bar and pubs located along the street. I must say the sound proofing is bad. The main trigger for me to write this review is the hotel breakfast. The staff kept telling us that we did not have hotel breakfast included, I was confused because I remember I’d bought the stay with breakfast. The food selection is atrocious, everything is cater towards vegetarian. I’m here in Bangkok and I’m looking forward to Thai food, not some Indian cuisine.
