This is an awesome place to stay. The rooms are very clean and well appointed. The staff go above and beyond to help you in any way. The Restaurant food is also very good and well priced. Overall a great experience and we would definitely stay there again and recommend to other fellow travellers.

From the moment we arrived we were greeted by a lovely check in staff member. Everyone was welcoming happy which made us feel at home. The room was quiet, modern and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Dinner with close friends after a 2.5hr drive from Sydney. We decided to book an overnight stay. Due to school holidays the choice of accommodation was limited. Mercure being a reliable brand was available & an obvious choice. Everything was perfect until breakfast. The reviews said the breakfast buffet was great. The photos of breakfast looked great. However when I requested a poached egg I was informed that only scrambled egg is available. The cook wasn’t doing poached eggs right then. It was around 7am & breakfast was available from 5:30am. I regret pre paying for breakfast as I wasn’t aware the poached egg wouldn’t be an option. Definitely do not agree that their breakfast is outstanding. Very standard limited options. Besides that it was a very comfortable & clean accommodation.

Location is convenient to airport, but find a better-value hotel in the city and cop the cab fare. Booked this for the convenience of arriving on a late flight. NO mini-bar, no snacks, no wine glasses. Only vending machines, on Reception floor. Apparently all Mecure and some Pullman are moving to this model now. Car Parking costs extra $15, no shuttles. No exhaust in bathroom and it FLOODS. Not a little ... A LOT ... as in, cannot step from shower or use the toilet without mopping up the dam-like conditions created there. A law-suit waiting to happen because of the SUPER DANGEROUS slipping hazard, but also, be prepared to be a cleaner if staying. You literally cannot use the bathroom area without mopping up all the water after you've showered. Bathmat is useless if you've laid it first, will be soaked within seconds. A known issue, multiple complaints, makes the hotel negligent in not having rectified this danger already. Good notes: bedding fabulous, staff terrific. Overall: An "Ibis" experience with a "Mecure" price tag.
