Room: Room appeared clean. Housekeeping don't seem to like dusting surfaces e.g. shower screen top, top of toilet and microwave, windowsill, room phone, remote control, behind bedside tables and top of wardrobe. So, if you were to store nice (cloth) luggage up there you'd be showered with dust as well as your luggage. Dirty mark on dining table. Mould in shower recess and bottom of door. The cleaning crew definitely need retraining. Found garbage in the hallway on my level after housekeeping had visited. Picked it up and took it to reception as could not locate any bins on the way down. The couch in the room is in 3 pieces, so, when you stretch out on it the end cushion slides off. The doors on the room slam loudly, especially noticable at 10pm. Food / Dining area: Breakfast is 3/10. The pancake machine produces tiny pancakes which are half raw. The hot food is OK. Sitting at the provided "restaurant" tables, the recesses in the middle of the long table I ate at held remnants of cereal and other food. Also, be sure to check the coffee cups, crockery and cutlery. Found quite a few pieces unsuccessfully passed through the dishwasher. Staff: The AM doesn't seem like a very amiable person with a somewhat sad attitude of wanting to be elsewhere. One of the female staff members is an absolute gem! I didn't manage to note her name down from her badge. She was taken aback when I mentioned the dirty shower recess. Staff member who guided me the ice machine was a darling too. The first morning I came downstairs, staff members setting out breakfast didn't even greet you with a 'Good morning'. So icy-faced. I'd never treat guests like that. I'd want them to know they could come back and be greeted in a positive manner. Aircon only goes to 28°C and TV volume is very low. I think it's set as such for consideration of the other guests, but, still with the loud doors. Secure parking is $20 per day at the time of this review. I prefer to live out of my luggage for only 7 days. Should accommodate the room with a luggage rack. Sounds somewhat petty but, eh, just a suggestion. I will come back again in the winter and hope that all my feedback will be taken on board. Room Service: Not available Monday night. Advised due to volume of guests and insufficient stock, unable to order as all ingredients depleted. 30.09.2025 found two wet facecloths sitting on the couch on top of my pj's. Took them dowstairs to Reception and handed to female staff member returning from outside the rear entrance. She apologised. She then approached some man in dark plum-coloured pants and a yellowey-beige shirt. I'm guessing he may be head of housekeeping or even maybe the GM. If so, he offered no apology. See photos of how I found my bed made whilst I was out. Not that I care really all that much but after everything else and what I've paid, you'd think some care would be taken. I accepted / excused a lot since checking-in on Friday 26.09. up until today 30.09. I'm not wealthy, so, this $1500 7-night stay should be shown with some better care. 30th October - Just found, what I believe to be, cockroach faeces under the sink. No shortage of slamming doors all day and stomping above or around me. Two days before I leave on 3 October and the phone and bedside table is still dirty and not dusted during the daily housekeeping visits. 02.10. - Parents allowing their child bounce their soccer ball in the hallway on L2 9:15 at night! 03.10. Parents allowing their children at 6:30 am this morning to bounce their fluoro yellow soccer ball in the courtyard. Those working at Reception also allowing this. Other guests, still slamming fire door at the end of the hall as well as their own room doors. (Said parents are staying here with their unmannered children for the Sydney International Cup. The only shining light here? Isabel. An outstandingly amazing staff member. The fact that she had to do what the parents should have done, and that was control their kids. Diplomatically of course.

We stayed 1 night in August. Very convenient location. Room was clean and quiet and had everything we needed with comfortable linen and bed. Basic crockery and cutlery in room but sufficient. Very friendly and helpful staff, efficient check in and checkout process. Would stay again.

Whilst comfortable, I felt the accommodation was overpriced for what it was. Our room had a musty smell about it, so we were thankful of opening windows so we could get some fresh air into the room. The cleaners had left a dirty cleaning cloth on the bedside table prior to our arrival. The breakfast was nice enough, and it was included in the cost of our accommodation. If I were to attend an event at 4 Pines Park in the future, I would definitely stay there again, otherwise I would probably give it a miss.
