Our room was upgraded, though it was about the same size — just with added bar snacks and lounge access. Size was considered spacious by Tokyo standards. The hotel is centrally located and conveniently close to the metro. The concierge team really stood out with their exceptional service. We needed help liaising with a local car rental company, and they handled it efficiently. They also assisted with our bulky luggage arrangements, which we were really grateful for. Special thanks to Sharmita (apologies if the spelling isn’t exact) for her kind assistance and effort. We also had some hiccups with the booking initially, but the reservations team helped to sort everything out smoothly.

The service crews at this hotel made you feel welcome when you enter the hotel. The room is slightly bigger than usual Japanese brand hotel rooms however you will still face challenges to open or keep your big luggages open while wanting to have walking space around the room. The beds are the most comfortable ones in my entire Japanese travel experience. The toilet is clean and comfortable. Breakfast variety is limited but was delicious. The location of the hotel has nothing to complain as it is surrounded by many eateries and shopping places and near convenience stores. Definitely worth staying if the price is reasonable’

Thoroughly enjoyed staying here as part of a week long break. The staff were very friendly and great to deal with. The staff are multi-lingual and multi-national. So my lack of Japanese was not a problem. The hotel is in an excellent location and in close proximity to a number of train and subway stations if you are wanting to get around greater Tokyo. We had a Privilege Room through an upgrade (through my Accor membership) so had access to the Executive Lounge which provided a quiet space if we needed to get away from the intensity of Tokyo. I was happy with the room size. Close proximity to Hibiya Park and the Imperial Gardens provided option for early morning walk and run. I loved the hotel's art deco look. Its not necessarily the cheapest place you could find in the area but I thought it was great value for money and provided exactly what I was looking for. I would definitely stay here again.

The Mercure hotel was the perfect base for our city exploration. This was our first stay, and it was a great experience. One of the standout features was the hotel's modern design, which beautifully incorporated a Japanese aesthetic. The illuminated room numbers, in particular, reminded me of a nighttime walk through a bustling Japanese street, seeking out small restaurants and bars. The room itself was spacious enough for both me and my teenager, with a major plus being the cozy window-side seating area. It was the perfect spot to unwind after a long day of sightseeing. The bathroom was also well-stocked with toiletries, and the staff was great about providing fresh supplies whenever we needed them. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable place to return to each day.
