A hotel on an extraordinary level – literally and figuratively. It is located on a hillside, cascading down with a beautiful view of the Ionian Sea. All apartments are located in low bungalows and the view is unobstructed. The rooms are very comfortable and well-equipped, although the TV could have some streaming options for the evening. This location requires a lot of walking, which is generally healthy, but may be uncomfortable for some. Fortunately, if necessary, you can take advantage of the courtesy of the staff and their electric vehicles. Speaking of the staff, they are also exceptional: very nice and friendly, but not intrusive. The valet picks up your car, check-in takes place over drinks, and you feel pampered from start to finish. Breakfasts are rich and varied, also with a beautiful view. In addition, there are two forms of dinner - buffet and a la carte. On the downside, although the hotel is surrounded by greenery, you can unfortunately hear the noise from the nearby street. A busy road separates the hotel from the beach, which is quite narrow and, due to its proximity to the road, very noisy. All in all, it is a unique place and highly recommended.

We were guests at the Hotel Avali, which, like the Nido, is part of the Mar Bella hotel family. We were able to eat there and were not disappointed. We tried the à la carte restaurant Apaggio. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and the wines were excellent. The hotels are 5 minutes apart, and they offer a free shuttle service.

Stayed here for two nights in early September. The hotel is pretty and well maintained, with a lovely pool area. I felt the rooms were just average for the price. Staff are super nice. I was really glad we got the meal plan (half-board) as there are not many options nearby for dining. The food and service in the hotel restaurant was very good. If I go back to Corfu, would I stay here again? No. I think there are probably better options on the island in terms of location and value for the money.

We are seasoned travelers who have stayed in all kinds of hotel categories across Greece and its islands. Nido offers spacious, comfortable rooms that are well maintained, though you can tell the property has a few years behind it. Service is exceptional — among the best we have ever experienced. Staff at the restaurant remember you by name, turn down service is flawless, and check-in and daily interactions are warm and attentive. Food is nicely presented and good overall, with desserts being excellent, but flavors could be more memorable. The biggest let down is the location. The hotel sits on a steep hill, making it tiring to walk around, and you often have to wait for golf cart transfers. To reach the beach, you must cross a busy road. The beach is very small, rocky, public, and noisy from the traffic, with some loungers even used by non-guests. Power lines obstruct the view, and the pool area is in an odd corner. These location issues are things the hotel can’t really change, but they affect the overall experience. For the price, the value just isn’t there, and we left without the relaxation we expected. While it’s likely one of the nicest hotels on Corfu, we would not return.
