I come regularly to Perth for work. This was is my first time staying at the Novotel Murray St and hopefully not my last. The hotel is well located. It’s a modern hotel with a beautiful reception area. The breakfast is awesome with great variety and not just bacon eggs and cereal like lots of hotels. I’m very grateful for the variety and healthy options. The room is modern with ample storage space for luggage and hanging space for clothing. The staff are super friendly. Big shout to the guy from housekeeping - great service. Also room service is very good too. All round a great place to stay when working away from home.

I was pleasantly surprised by how great this hotel was. The room was clean and spacious with a really comfy bed. The outdoor heated pool was a highlight, and the gym was very well equipped – much better than expected. There’s also a cute little bar downstairs that’s perfect for a drink before heading out. The location is super central, and the late checkout was a nice bonus. Would definitely stay again!

Beds lovely and comfortable and rooms clean. No view out of window unfortunately. We didn’t have breakfast as it finished too early (9.30) and didn’t eat in the evening as the food choice didn’t excite us. Main bar area was a little exposed and not very cosy for a quiet drink more a thoroughfare and was closed very early. The pool area needed some TLC and clearing of rubbish / empty bottles from under seats. Although the pool itself was lovely and warm and we had the whole pool to ourselves (Sunday morning 10.30 am )

I arrived a day late, as my flight from overseas was delayed. As I had gotten a cheaper rate, the hotel told me they wouldn't refund the 1st nights stay. I said that was fine, not their fault. I had an EV Car, so I asked if they had parking and charging facilities. I was told to go park at the nearby Wilsons Parking, as that would cost me $11, as opposed to the $50 Valet Only option at the hotel. I asked whether the hotel would be willing to "cut me some slack" on the Valet parking, since I had already paid for the 1st night, but didn't stay. This was also rejected. So all in all, I paid $560AUD for 1 night, and 1 night of parking. The room I was given was adequate. Basic. Nothing at all in the fridge. Not even a little bit of milk for your coffee. Bed was comfortable. The location of the hotel is great. Heaps of restaurants etc nearby. Would I stay here again??? I would, but I'd be looking at other options first.
