We had our wedding here at Novotel and the experience as a whole was great. Although our accounts passed through a total of 3 sales managers (high turn over rate), we were glad that the handovers were done well and Melvin (last manager we worked with) executed the plans well. He really helped us get the best deals such that we dont necessarily incur extra charges. Overall the banquet dinner was also executed well. Derrick and Yvonne led the team and followed up with requests promptly. Derrick especially took initiatives to help us check on our av equipment, patiently gave us step by step guides to popping the champagne. We were very assured that every thing will run smoothly. Most of our guests had good feedback on the meal. The chilli crab lobster with mantou was definitely the highlight. Just a feedback was that many of the guests felt that the ballroom was a little warm. All in all our experience w Novotel was great :)

Wonderful place to stay, nice rooms, lovely pool and very helpful staff. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Chef Sean Lim has been truly amazing, he has looked after our grandson who has coeliacs and must eat gluten free. He has taken so much care we cannot express how wonderful he has been. Also Mohammed and Yani have given us great service. What a fabulous experience we have had staying with you. Thank you.

The room was very comfortable well appointed very good shower. Room cleaning and baggage staff very helpful. Reception undermanned queues often. Location is not central but there is a curtesy bus that runs to the underground station ( Singapore metro is excellent)

This review is for the hotel’s main restaurant - Food Exchange Where do I I begin? Had the “Oh Shucks! It’s LobsterMania!” buffet and it was unfortunately a very, very poor experience. The lobsters and crab served were dry, hard, and had a very fishy and unpleasant taste and odour. None of us at the table of five could eat more than a single bite. This is the first time I’ve ever walked out of a restaurant after demanding a refund. For $138++ per person, the quality was beyond dismal. While the cashier/receiving staff were polite and processed a refund promptly, the manager’s handling of our feedback could be greatly improved — particularly in respecting personal space and avoiding physical contact. His comment that I had higher than average standards was unacceptable! We left extremely disappointed and hope quality and service standards are urgently reviewed. Oh shucks…but not in a good way.
