We had an amazing stay here over the weekend. The whole city was very busy with the Sydney Marathon on - and this hotel was just perfect. The rooms were new and fresh with plenty of space and light - with quality amenities. The pool and gym were fabulous - and room service for dinner and the buffet breakfast downstairs delicious. The location was just perfect with a myriad of restaurants right on your doorstep and amazing shops a few minutes walk away. We’re already planning our next stay! Thank you to all the staff who were so helpful and friendly - and nice to see the GM of the hotel frequently assisting staff and greeting guests. We’ll see you again soon! The O’Neiles

Staff at check in and check out were very friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom was spotless. The bed was super comfy. Staff at the lobby bar and at the breakfast buffet were very welcoming and professional. The only slight disappointment was that the breakfast options don't seem to be as varied as they were during previous stays.

Novotel Darling Square is like that friend who always looks good in photos: polished, dependable, maybe not flawless, but you still enjoy the company. The bed? Comfy enough to make me debate whether sightseeing was worth it. The shower pressure? Let’s just say it could wash away more than jetlag—it could probably handle my sins too. Breakfast had me filling my plate like I hadn’t seen food in days, though the bacon had that “blink and it’s gone” quality. Service was quick, smiles were genuine, and the location? Right in the middle of Darling Harbour’s buzz—perfect for pretending I planned my trip with great precision. It’s not the kind of place that makes you want to write poetry about the curtains, but it is the kind that makes you think, “Yep, I’d book here again.

What a great location and venue to stay at, comfortable beds, friendly staff great facilities. We stayed for three nights for a quick Sydney visit as a family and had a ball. We had breakfast as part of our package which was excellent until the last morning when there was hardly any food, one had to search to find plates, extra cutlery, no fruit juice it was unworthy of such an establishment. The staff were very apologetic but no sign of a manager or the like to help the scenario.
