Have to leave a review to appreciate the amazing service at this hotel. We arrived 14th August and my husband accidentally left his phone behind in the taxi. The whole security team on that day were so helpful and professional, they checked the cameras, contacted the driver and got the phone returned in record time. Cannot thank them enough!

A common feature I noticed is that the service staff move very quickly (except for the doormen, whose reactions were a bit slower, though still acceptable). I probably came to this conclusion because I was especially impressed by one male housekeeping staff member and one female waitress, who always wear full black with sneaker at the bar. Both of them worked with great agility, fully understood their tasks, and delivered service beyond expectations thanks to their thoughtfulness and keen observation of guests’ habits and needs. The housekeeping staff, in particular, paid attention to the characteristics of each individual in the group and tailored his service accordingly. Unfortunately, I always ran into them when I wasn’t wearing my glasses, so I couldn’t catch their names. In terms of location, it’s very convenient — close to the MRT and the mall, within walking distance to Gardens by the Bay, and also just a short ride to the airport. The bed was quite comfortable, the pillows were pleasant, and the room was always dry and airy.

We had a truly wonderful and memorable 3 day stay at the hotel — everything from the service to the ambiance made it special. Special shout out to Jenny (Collection Club Lounge), who sought management approval to wavier our room upgrade charges when she learned of my husband health. I was very touched and surprised by her gesture as I did not ask for the wavier. Also, special thanks to Ariane and Simon (Collection Club Lounge), who are friendly, warm, and attentive whenever we go to the lounge for our tea and drinks. Vemalan Balakrishnan (senior outlet manager) who graciously and warmly introduced us to the buffet spread at the Peppermint also made our breakfast a great start to our day. Our Collection Club King room (facing the bay) was spacious and beautiful. There is a long console table which is very useful to put our things. Most hotels do not have such long console tables. The toilet is comfortable and elegant. It combined sleek design with thoughtful functionality and eco-friendly features (a premium filtered water tap in the toilet) We had breakfast at Peppermint on day 2, and the spread was generous and satisfying, with a good variety of both Western and local options to suit every taste. We also enjoyed our afternoon tea and evening drinks with bites at the Collection Club Lounge, with great service from Jenny, Ariane, and Simon. We highly recommend this hotel.

I was appalled to see that the Parkroyal Collection Hotel in Singapore keeps birds in tiny cages in its lobby. Birds are social flock animals with a strong need for space and freedom of movement – keeping them confined like this is animal cruelty and simply unacceptable. A hotel that positions itself as modern, sustainable, and luxurious should know better: animal welfare is part of true responsibility. A constructive suggestion: instead of displaying birds in cramped cages, the hotel could install a spacious, natural aviary in the lobby. This would allow the birds to live and fly together as they should, and it would reflect positively on the hotel’s image. Until then: avoid this hotel if you care about animal welfare.
