Lovely rooms and grounds. Just a pity the restaurant closes so early during the week. We landed in ChCh at 8:30pm and had to look elsewhere for dinner.

Lovely quiet place to stay in a golf resort. We had rooms overlooking the lake which was very pleasant. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the service was good. Room layout has a few issues: towel rack is on the far side of the bathroom to the shower, and the "King" bed was just two singles pushed together with sheets that didn't tuck in properly. Also, the parking layout doesn't allow for 3 cars, expect to park on the grass opposite if you're the third car to the block. Overall we were happy, just a few minor annoyances.

This hotel has gone downhill over the years, with terrible upkeep and housekeeping standards. The bathroom tiles, grout and vents are full of dirt, mould and gunk. When I flagged this with the front desk staff the response was "we're aware and it will be fixed in the future". Pretty poor response given they're clearly not enforcing housekeeping standards that would go a long way to fixing the issue ...
