What You’ll Love…
The Resort – A-list facilities just steps from the beach
Feel like a local with stylish beachside apartment living in Queensland’s famed Gold Coast. Just 35-minutes’ drive from Gold Coast Airport or an hour and thirty-minutes’ drive from Brisbane Airport, you’ll find the high-end facilities of Rhapsody Resort.
Sweat it out at the fully-equipped gymnasium, cool off in the pristine, recently-renovated swimming pool and relax on the chic sky deck found on the 41st floor. Boasting BBQ’s, tables and chairs, and sweeping views of the skyline meeting the sea, the open-air deck finished renovations in late 2018 and is the ultimate place to unwind away from the crowds.
The Apartment – State-of-the-art style with sweeping ocean views and a guaranteed late 11am checkout
Enjoy a guaranteed upgrade to an ocean view apartment and watch the golden shores of Surfers Paradise sparkle from a different angle in your spacious, 51sqm One Bedroom Ocean View Apartment. Cheers to a fantastic getaway with a welcome bottle of sparkling wine and Belgium chocolates on arrival and take in sweeping views of the coastline from the floor-to-ceiling windows and smell the salty sea breeze from your private, furnished balcony.
The chic, self-contained apartment features all you might need – a fully-equipped kitchen with fridge, microwave, oven and stove top, a secure underground car park, full laundry facilities, Wi-Fi and a sunlit lounge area.
Family Upgrade: Travelling with family or friends? Upgrade to a huge Two Bedroom Ocean View Apartment for up to four people, located on an even higher floor of the resort. With two bedrooms, two bathrooms, 82sqm of lavish living space and uninterrupted views of the Pacific Ocean from your private balcony, you’ll feel right at home.
See & Do – It’s always a good time to visit with 300 days of sunshine
You can’t beat an average, year-round temperature of 25 degrees. Enjoy a full-day of bike hire and bask in the sunshine as you ride from the café-filled streets to the skater-soaked foreshore.
With your stay, enjoy access to the spectacular SkyPoint observation deck – located on the rooftop of the Q1. Perched 230 metres off the ground on level 77 with 360 degrees of views, enjoy a hot afternoon at Australia’s only beachside observation deck. From the lush rolling hinterland to the bold blue waters, the vistas are unbeatable; and with a side of shredded beef tacos or sushi handrolls, an afternoon can’t get much better.
If you like venturing off the radar and don’t mind a bit of a drive, Burleigh Heads Beach is where you’ll find every local and his dog. Perched in the presence of Burleigh Head National Park, here you’ll find resident surfers, azure waters and stretches of white sand sans the tourists.
But first, coffee: Cold-brew coffee is exactly what you need on a hot Surfers Paradise day so its fortunate that Stairwell Coffee dubs this their speciality. This easily-missed café is literally located under a staircase at The Centre Arcade, so most of their customers are locals. Duck off the bustling Cavill Avenue, order a refreshing brew and don’t tell anyone we sent you!
