A superbly beautiful, quiet hotel resort on Maenam Beach...really quiet. The lights at the beach bar close at 10 p.m....a bit of a shame...very well-maintained complex...the beach is fantastic, towels are immediately stretched over the comfortable loungers...there are always fresh bottles of water...the rooms are amazing...clean. In the evening, everything is made ready for bed and an incense coil is lit in front of the bungalow...perfect relaxation.

This hotel is really great, the pool is amazing, there’s a private beach only for hotel guests, and everything is beautiful. There’s even a kids-club with tons of kids entertainment. 2 things we didn’t care for: - the prices at the pool / beach are crazy high. 25USD for a sandwich and a soda. - The duplex room is a little old, there is a noisy wooden floor, the bed is not so comfortable, and there a weird second floor saloon.

Disappointing for the price. The Santiburi looks impressive on the surface, but the overall experience didn’t justify the cost. Staff interactions felt more transactional than welcoming, with prices often more than double compared to elsewhere on the island. More concerning, my wedding ring was stolen from the room while it was closed. The hotel declined all responsibility, even though I had only left it out briefly. For a property branded as Michelin-recommended and charging over $1,000 per night, I expected far higher standards of accountability and hospitality. Overall, a nice setting but not the level of service or trust one should find at this price point.
