The hotel is located approximately a 25-minute drive from Santorini Airport (JTR). Airport transfers are not included in your package, please plan accordingly.

This hotel is a true gem - we had an absolute blast from the very first second. The service is beyond superb – every single team member went out of their way to make our stay perfect - especially Anastasia 🧚🏼. We were welcomed with a beautiful honeymoon surprise that honestly brought me to tears. From that point on, not a single wish was left unmet. Housekeeping outdid themselves every day: thoughtful turndown treats, freshly cleaned sunglasses, neatly tied cables – every detail was noticed. It’s the kind of care that makes you feel truly special. Our room was absolutely breathtaking – minimalist, elegant, and perfectly in tune with the Santorini landscape. The architecture and landscaping are flawless; the hotel grounds feel like a carefully curated botanical garden. What truly amazed us were the giant olive trees throughout the resort – several of them were actually flown in and replanted here, which is simply mind-blowing. Most of the plants on the property don’t naturally exist on Santorini, and yet the gardens are thriving and perfectly maintained. It’s a small miracle in itself. Another fascinating detail: because Santorini’s natural flora is very limited, there are hardly any insects on the island – which means no mosquitoes at all. It made evenings outdoors wonderfully peaceful. (We still find ourselves wondering how the plants get pollinated without insects!) Even though we had our own private pool, the two main pool areas were so beautiful that we couldn’t resist spending time there too. Within seconds of arriving, we’d have a menu and a drink in hand – total bliss. And the view… words can’t describe it. While Oia town itself doesn’t actually have a real sunset view, Canaves Epitome offers the most stunning sunset panorama on the entire island. It’s simply unbeatable. The sailing cruise they recommended turned out to be one of the best days of our trip: a wonderful crew, delicious onboard BBQ, and incredible views from the sea. Another big plus: the complimentary hotel shuttle to Oia center. It runs regularly and is super convenient, with friendly drivers and spotless vehicles – definitely a 10/10 service. We also loved that Canaves Epitome is perfectly located just above Ammoudi Bay – a walk down there is something truly special. The path winds through the cliffs with the most beautiful views, and the little tavernas by the water are pure magic - not only at sunset. We can’t thank the Canaves Epitome team enough for making our time in Santorini so perfect - we’ll definitely be back!

Incredible!! What a beautiful hotel! We have loved every minute staying here. We stayed at the beginning of the season and at the end of the season and both were as good as each other! We can’t fault this hotel…the service and the ambience are absolute perfection. Thank you especially to Katerina…you are a gem and an asset to the hotel. Thank you for making our experience memorable and for your friendly hospitality. Thank you also to Maria…what a wonderful lady you are, the kids adore you, we are grateful for your kindness and hospitality also. Highly recommend…a very special hotel.

First of all, this place is BEAUTIFUL!!! Secondly, I cannot emphasize enough how amazing the interactions felt from each and every member of the Canaves team, both from leadership and staff. Exceptional from start to finish. Vasilis and Thanassis have clearly set a high bar, and most importantly, the culture they've cultivated with the team surpassed all my expectations. Anastasia was so delightful, and the whole front-desk team was always responsive and switched on to help our needs. The 24hr WhatsApp concierge was insane! And so immediate! There was clearly a lot of thought in delivering our preferences, as indicated from the special dish that was prepared for us à la carte. Every staff member, from housekeeping to chauffeur services greeted us with a genuine smile and was a pleasure to speak with. They clearly have pride in working for the canaves brand, which is a testament to what the Chaidemenos family has built. Bravo to the whole Canaves team! As a Greek, I'm extremely proud this local/family-run brand is setting such high standards for luxury hospitality.

We had an incredible stay. From our first arrival impression, to the personal tour of the facility. Everything we needed was welcomed with a smile. Everyone was so incredibly friendly and seemed like they wanted to be there. Very personal. Each night the different candies given to us was a treat. The pools and facilities were spotless. I’ve spent thousands of nights in hotel rooms and this is my most favorite one to date. We left Santorini and are visiting other SLH properties and they do not even come close to comparing to the service and attitudes y’all have. If it wasn’t so hard to come from the United States we would visit more often. I cannot stop thinking about the breakfast even!
