Over the course of the next year, an extension will be added to the historic building, which will see the addition of 58 bedrooms and suites, a new restaurant, extensive spa facilities, a swimming pool and a purpose-built banqueting suite. We had a 10/10 stay in mid-July. We were beyond spoiled from the moment we checked in. There was something for everyone across the 3 generations in our group. The history of the area and property as told by George was heartfelt. We were easily occupied for a week with the property, especially the grounds and spa. Everything was handled with care and attention. We all hope to visit again, as even the youngest in our group misses the kid's center and the lovely ladies at the country store. Thank you to everyone who make the experience what it is. Truly remarkable.

What a fabulous hotel in a stunning location! We were lucky enough to stay here for a night and our experience from start to finish was fantastic. All staff are so friendly, professional and attentive and the hotel has a very calm and relaxed atmosphere. We ate a light lunch in the outdoor area near Charlie's bar and the food was delicious. The spa facilities are very impressive and we spent a very relaxing few hours enjoying the facilities. Our room was lovely, with plenty of space, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom had a luxurious feel to it. We ate at Sunlaw's restaurant in the evening and were treated to an amazing culinary experience. All staff were extremely attentive and knowledgeable and the food was exquisite. I had the wine pairing alongside and the wines matched the courses perfectly. We then finished the evening with a visit to the whisky bar and Carrie-Ann was so warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. She chose the perfect whisky for me. Breakfast was very impressive with a wide selection of food for everyone. Once again the staff were so welcoming and attentive. We highly recommend this hotel and will certainly be back for another stay. Thank you so much to all the staff for making this a perfect and relaxing stay.

What a highlight to our trip to Scotland. We brought our kids and they sure had a blast. Just know that the pool hours for them are early in the morning. Breakfast is also a highlight. Kids loved the kids club even though others weren’t there. Also had some really nice walks around the facility.

This hotel is just beautiful. Arrived and checked in easy, got shown around before heading up to our room. The room was huge and bed was super comfy. They had written a lovely card for my daughter’s 18th birthday and left her a lovely tray with chocolate on it. The food was the best, the burger and pizza at the terrace bar so nice. The staff were helpful and friendly. Special mention to Jordan who made us cocktails he was so lovely and kind. The spa facilities are really good and the heated pool was amazing. Can’t fault this hotel at all, was a relaxing experience. Louise M.
