Nice hotel located in the center. Good Restaurants and bus located around the block. The front desk was very helpfull, we got some good tips for restaurants. The breakfast is excellent nice variety of food. The only downside was that we had a very warm room even with the heating turned off. The hotel knew this already so there was a portable cooler placed in the room. But this was not ideal.

Everything about our stay was excellent. We spent our final night here before heading back home. We arrived in the early afternoon, around 15:00 and everything was ready. Room was great and had everything we needed. Great bed and am-a-zing blinds and curtains. We were able to sleep in a pitch dark room and compared to other hotels this was a blessing especially since we had to get up really early. Bathroom was good too, nothing that stood out but had everything we needed. I can’t say much bad about this either. Hotel is at a perfect location and close (or very walkable distance) to the city highlights. (Shopping streets, Museum, Church,…) Staff and reception is friendly and helpful, and they even offered us some coffee and croissants at 3:30am in the morning when we were leaving for our flight.

Everything about this hotel is wonderful. Arrived early after flying all night and was able to check in early for much needed rest. Parking is outside or in the parking garage beneath the hotel, which is very convenient. Breakfast is served every morning with a nice variety. Staff have a warm demeanor and work efficiently. My wife and I were on the top floor with a balcony, which gave several opportunities to see the northern lights (this was mid-April). Rooms are well kept and clean. You can tell they take pride in what they do. Convenient walking distance to all the restaurants and shops in the area as well as museums. You will not find a better place with a better location for the price.

The hotel is nice and clean. Staff are friendly. The hotel is walkable to many restaurants and attractions as well as the bus terminal to the airport. However, it is the most expensive hotel that I've ever stayed at. For $300+ per night, I expected better amenities. The restaurant is only open for breakfast, which was great. Also nice to have coffee in the lobby for guests before breakfast opening. There is no pool, there is no gym, if you need a bag breakfast to go, you have to order it 30 hours in advance, but you aren't told that until it's too late. No room service, no iron in the room. Our room had a small board at the base of the entrance doorway that we often tripped over while walking out of the room, which was a bit weird. There is also limited parking and most of the parking is paid spots on the street. No air conditioning in the rooms and only 1 small top flip-out window that can be opened. I just expected more than a 2-star service hotel for the price. Reykjavik is expensive, but for this price, there may be better amenities if you shop around. The hotel is nice and comfortable, just know what you are getting for the price.
