Great place to either have tea break or a good meal. This place is staffed by three gentlemen and they bring a great youthful energy to the place. We were greeted with smiles. They are John, Kris and Wenz. The food was served really quickly and was delicious! Highly recommended to all!

For the price paid, the service was honestly disappointing .. especially from the front desk. From check-in to check-out, the staff were unclear, unhelpful, and their body language was unprofessional. The check-in process felt rushed and impersonal, even though the hotel was not busy at the time. Key benefits such as lounge access or Virgin Active privileges were also not mentioned, which reflected a lack of attentiveness and training. Each time we requested a bellboy, we had to wait for over an hour. The only saving grace was the housekeeping team..polite, efficient, and genuinely hardworking. The facilities were poorly maintained. The pool was dirty, and the drains around it were covered with algae. The jacuzzi was mostly not functioning, with several jets broken or out of order. On top of that, the place was not easily accessible and quite inconvenient to get to. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, but the welcome amenity provided did not reflect my registered preferences and was not to my liking. To make matters worse, less than an hour after checking into our suite, a male staff member (from China) suddenly opened our door without knocking, saying he wanted to add more tea bags. That was extremely intrusive and unacceptable. Overall, this was a deeply disappointing experience that did not reflect the brand’s supposed standards, nor did it justify the premium price paid.

I am writing this review as an All Accor Plus Gold member with deeply disappointing feedback regarding my recent stay. The service I received from the reception staff was absolutely unacceptable for an upscale brand like Sofitel, and it completely ruined the end of my visit. The Incident: The most serious failure occurred on Tuesday, October 27th, 2025, at approximately 9:00 PM, when I approached the desk regarding my checkout arrangements. As a Gold member, I had requested a 4 PM late checkout at the time of my reservation, which is a standard benefit. The two reception staff members on duty at that time refused the request under the pretext that the hotel was "fully booked." It wasn't the denial itself that was the issue; it was the utter lack of courtesy, professionalism, and hospitality in their delivery. Their demeanor and body language were dismissive and cold—frankly, they acted as if they didn't want to be bothered by a paying guest, much less a loyalty member. For a hotel positioned as a luxury hospitality leader, this level of arrogance and poor customer service is shocking. Conclusion: When a hotel's front-facing staff demonstrates such an unfriendly attitude, it devalues the entire brand experience. My loyalty status was treated as meaningless, and the staff's conduct was entirely unbecoming of a supposed 5-star property. Management needs to immediately address this severe lapse in basic training and professional conduct. I highly recommend travelers reconsider staying here if they value courteous service.
