The harbour area and Harpa concert hall are a gentle 20-minute wander along the seafront, while Laugardalur, the outdoor complex with Iceland’s largest swimming pool and Reykjavik Zoo, is a 30-minute walk away. The hotel is 50km from Reykjavik’s Keflavik International Airport. Transfers are not included, please plan accordingly.

The Storm Hotel is great. Super clean. Delicious breakfast and very knowledgeable and friendly staff. They have a great Happy Hour. The Icelandic draft beer is really good. The housekeeping staff was also wonderful. I would definitely recommend them. Very centrally located as well. We were able to walk all over and see all the sites.

In great location within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Room is normal size and clean. Breakfast bar is good with fresh fruit and coffee. Front desk folks very friendly and helpful and respectful. Highly recommend staying here for the budget.

I only stayed in this hotel for one night before going out into Iceland. This is definitely a good hotel to stay in for that purpose, and a lot of other people do so. It has very minimalist architecture. The bathroom was very nice although the shower didn't even have a door which was odd but kind of cool. Over all a pretty nice stay.

We only visited for breakfast. It was an overall nice breakfast. You basically get what you pay for (2700 isk). There was no warm food such as scrambled eggs, bacon or pancakes which was a bit disappointing and therefore brings the rating down. They did have a good selection of bread, pastries and toppings which all tasted good. The staff was friendly and collected dishes fast.
