Taychreggan Signature Collections by Eight Continents, UK sits on a secluded peninsula on the shores of Loch Awe in Argyll, surrounded by 40 acres of wooded grounds and breathtaking Highland scenery. Just 40 minutes from the ferry town of Oban, the hotel offers an ideal base for exploring Scotland’s best, including Glencoe and Glen Etive via the spectacular Glen Orchy, or island-hopping to Mull and Iona.

The hotel is located approximately a two-hour drive from Glasgow Airport (GLA). Airport transfers are not included in your package, please plan accordingly.

  • Breakfast is served daily at Lochsmith Restaurant from 8am to 10am, with both continental and a la carte hot options available.
  • Daily two-course fine dining dinner is served at Lochsmith Restaurant or the Orangery (for guests with dogs). Choose any starter or dessert (up to GBP13 per person) and any main (up to GBP26 per person). Drinks are not included, however guests may use their daily drink allowance during dinner. Menu subject to change based on seasonality.
  • Nightly drink is available anywhere on the property, from a select menu of wine, beer, spirits, tea, coffee or soft drink. Up to GBP8 per person, per day. Allowance does not roll over to subsequent days.
  • Afternoon tea is served at Lochsmith Restaurant with loch views, or outdoors (weather permitting) from 1pm to 4pm. Includes selection of teas or coffee, cream scones, cakes and finger sandwiches. Booking is required.
Cancellation policy

Blackout Dates & Surcharges: A non-refundable surcharge per room, per night may apply, payable at the time of booking. Dates and prices are identified in the Booking Calendar. Blackout dates may apply.

7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date. Excludes flight and service fee, if applicable.

  • Cancellations outside of the 7-Day Change of Mind period will not be provided, except as required by Australian Consumer Law, your local law or as otherwise provided for in the Fine Print.
