This hotel was a sensation!! It exceeded our expectations and really made our trip to Siem Reap. The hotel was modern, new, centrally located, with large beautiful rooms and amenities (connecting family rooms), great cooling, amazing pools (x2), friendly and helpful staff, and delicious food options. The rooftop horizon pool was amazing - large, perfect temperature, lots of chairs and umbrellas, and the all important call button for food and drinks. Then in the heat of the day we could escape to the rainforest pool in the shade with all of the above again.

We could not recommend The Aviary enough for a perfect stay. It is within walking distance to many eateries, bars, supermarkets, shopping strips and massage venues. It is like being in the middle of all the action but still being able to be away from it at the same time. Décor and Ambience - The décor and ambience of The Aviary really lives up to its name. From the reception to the restaurants and rooms, every detailed aspect of finishing touches such as decorating pieces or furniture were tied in together artistically. Staff and Service - Firstly, let me begin by saying that the uniforms the staff wear remind me of Bruno Mars and I really wanted a set for myself. The swagger of the uniforms is refreshing, laid back but also very professional (if that even can be a thing!).The staff at the Aviary were absolutely amazing. They were hospitable and very accommodating ensuring that all our needs were met (not that we required a lot). It literally felt like a home but in a boutique hotel
