Tucked away on its very own stretch of pristine, white-sand beach opposite Nassau Harbour on the breathtakingly secluded Paradise Island, The Reef at Atlantis Paradise Island invites you to unplug completely – or plug into all that Atlantis has to offer.

Surrounded by Atlantis’ six other resorts – each just a two-minute shuttle ride from one another – The Reef can be your self-contained sanctuary or your launchpad to the wonders of this perfect drop in the Caribbean Ocean. Choose a residential studio, a suite or a penthouse complete with laundry facilities and kitchenette, then find your ideal version of Atlantis. The foodies can savour coastal cuisine at Paranza or Mosaic’s live cooking stations, while water-lovers can plunge into the Baths Colonnade’s pool framed by 2.5 acres of deck or the 2.7-million gallon Ruins Lagoon. Stretch out on Cove and Paradise beaches, then venture to Sip Sip by Chef Julie Lightbourn for a handcrafted cocktail.

The most welcoming, humble and colorful experience ever! I think now why we took so long to come to Bahamas especially ‘The Reef’. We will be coming here every year now! Thank you for turning our vacation in a true treasured memory!!

A very nice condominium-style hotel for your stay. Spacious rooms with large bathrooms, and various kitchen amenities depending on room type. Book the Harbour side rooms if you enjoy sunset views.

I loved the rooms. We stayed here for a week and loved the entire week. The cleaning service people and all the other workers were extremely nice. The bus service is amazing, especially for a resort. The beach side view is amazing, and a pool is just out back with a short walk to the rapids River and aquaventure.

Atlantis is amazing! Yes it's huge and you walk a lot! There's so much to do or the perfect place to just relax beside the pool or on the beach. The rooms were huge and had a well stocked kitchenette. The Waterpark was fun for a day or two but after that we were done with it. The beaches were clean and the lifeguards were attentive. Once lightening and thunder started they effectively got everyone off the beach and inside. The shuttle ran regularly and was free so that was nice. Now for the only downside.... the food is horrible! Worse than horrible actually! It's loaded with MSG which made my son and I very sick. The food is very expensive and is worse than fast food. The pizza place was the only halfway decent place. Atlantis really is awesome and we would recommend it but would warn of the terrible food!
