We chose the William Inglis Hotel for both our wedding ceremony and reception, and it was one of the best decisions we made. From the moment we visited the venue, we fell in love with its charm and versatility, especially the big barn, which became our reception space. Even though it rained on the day, the hotel had a beautiful indoor ceremony location ready for us, and it looked just as stunning as the outdoor area we had originally planned. It really showed us how well-prepared and professional the team is. Our wedding coordinator, Mikaela, was truly exceptional. She supported us throughout the entire planning process, always answering our questions quickly and giving us peace of mind. We made quite a few changes along the way, but she was so patient, understanding, and always listened to our ideas. She made us feel like our vision mattered and worked hard to make it come to life. On the day, the venue looked breathtaking. The big barn was styled perfectly by Wisteria Events, and seeing it all come together was such a special moment for us. The hotel lobby was also absolutely beautiful, with elegant details and plenty of gorgeous spots for photographs. It provided a lovely backdrop for some of our favourite portraits, especially while waiting for the rain to pass. One of the things we loved most was how convenient everything was. The ceremony, reception, and accommodation were all in the same location, which meant no rushing between places. If we needed a quick touch-up or a moment to relax, we could easily pop back up to our hotel room. It also meant our guests could fully enjoy the day without worrying about long travel times. Being local to many of our guests was another bonus, as it meant they didn’t have to travel far. In fact, when we had a little shoe emergency on the day, one of our guests was able to drive home quickly and come back without missing much at all. The staff were so welcoming and professional, making sure everything ran smoothly behind the scenes. Drinks on tables were never empty. We stayed for two nights, which made getting ready stress-free and gave us time to enjoy the space without feeling rushed. The venue also had plenty of room to store our belongings, which was incredibly helpful. Even though we had a winter wedding and the greenery wasn’t as lush as when we first saw it in spring, the venue still looked magical. I would highly recommend the William Inglis Hotel to any couple planning their wedding. If you’re considering it, I suggest taking a tour to truly appreciate the space.

I recently stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and had a wonderful experience. The reception staff was very helpful and welcoming from the moment I arrived. A special thanks to Mr. Deepak Gupta, who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. He also offered great suggestions for local attractions and dining, which really enhanced my visit. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and offered a beautiful view of the race course—truly a highlight of the stay. Another big plus is the location: there’s a train station just a 15-minute walk from the hotel, which made getting around the city incredibly easy. It was a great way to escape the traffic and reach different parts of the city efficiently. Overall, I had a pleasant and relaxing time, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

From start to finish our two day stay was excellent. Front desk welcome was exceptional & our suite was divine. The hot rock massage we had at the spa was relaxing, professional & the highlight of our stay. Buffet breakfast was fantastic. The location is great with just a short drive to Lidcombe Station with plenty of parking then onto Central & you're in the city. Will definitely be back.

We love staying at the William Inglis! We first stayed there on our wedding night, and as Accor members, any time we have a function on in the area, we stay there of course. The rooms are great, the view from the rooms is beautiful. The grounds are so beautiful to walk around. We love their breakfasts (especially their omelettes). The staff are always polite and accommodating. We stayed there one time and it looked like there was a horse auction going on, the horses were so beautiful. We'd love to go back during the spring when the races are on, but still plenty of time.
