Thredbo Alpine Hotel is located in the heart of Thredbo village, close to Kosciuszko Express Scenic Chairlift and to shops, restaurants and bars. The hotel is approximately a one-hour drive from Snowy Mountains Airport (Cooma), a 2.5-hour drive from Canberra Airport, or a 6.5-hour drive from Melbourne Airport. Airport transfers are not included in your package, please plan accordingly.

Originally built in 1957, the hotel is one of the oldest properties in Thredbo and effortlessly combines alluring alpine charm with modern facilities – including bars, restaurants, guest laundry facilities and complimentary onsite car parking. Please note Thredbo Alpine Hotel packages do not include Kosciuszko National Park’s vehicle entry fee of A$17 per vehicle, per day.
The Room – Cosy and comfortable

Superior King Room & Superior Twin Room – Packages are valid for two adults.
Maximum Room Capacity: The maximum room capacity is two people. No extra guests can be accommodated.
Baby Policy: One baby (aged two years and under) may stay free of charge and will count towards the room capacity. A cot can be provided by the hotel free of charge.
Please Note: No minimum spend applies for the A$25 dining credit. Credit cannot be transferred and must be used in one visit. Any unused portion of the credit will be forfeited. Cocktail on arrival is valued at A$20 per person.
Ride & Dine Upgrade: Upgrade includes two passes for the Kosciuszko Express Chairlift for two adults, and a one-course lunch each with soft drinks or coffee at Australia’s highest restaurant, Eagles Nest. Please note: the hotel will request further details including full name and date of birth of each guest to book the lift passes. You will be required to select a date during your stay to use your pass. Passes will be available at reception for collection from 7am on the day of arrival, or can be picked up from Valley Terminal Guest Services from 8.30 am. The Kosciuszko Express Chairlift operates from 9am to 4.30pm daily. If the chairlift does not operate on the selected date due to high winds or electrical storms, the tickets will be transferred to another date during the stay. Lift tickets will not be valid after departure dates. No refunds are available. Lunch is valued up to A$35 per person and includes a main each and A$5 for soft drinks or coffee of choice.
